Arts Sunday (Now in Its 9Th Year) Comes from Our Arts and Music Community Coming Together to Create This Wonderful Street Festival www.arts.gg SPONSORED BY : , FREE & FOR EVERY FUN ONE TS SUND R N SEAFRONT 10AM A A TOW -5PM Y 9th JUNE 2019 #ARTS19 Today is all about our community coming together to celebrate the arts, music and crafts in a “Fun, Free and for everyone” way. Enjoy the music, dance and performances across the four stages, have fun joining in workshops and browsing the arts market. The success of Arts Sunday (now in its 9th year) comes from our arts and music community coming together to create this wonderful street festival. We would like to thank all the artists, performers and crafters here today who contribute to such a vibrant event. We would also like to thank the numerous volunteers that help us setup and take down the event: We couldn’t do it without you! This year we have been pleased to have engaged with the Disability alliance and a number of local organisations to further promote Inclusivity. We have increased the number of disabled car parking spaces available and the Town Church will be available for anyone wanting a little quiet time, a beautiful building. We really do want the day to be Inclusive and you will see the Hidden Disability Sunflower logo prominent around the event. We ask everyone coming along today to be conscious of others, young or old, who may need just that bit more of your time, or a seat to rest on while watching a performance. THEENJOY Guernsey Arts THE Commission DAY Team The Guernsey Arts Commission believe we should all become more aware of the Hidden Disability Sunflower. LOOK OUT TODAY FOR PEOPLE YOUNG AND OLD WEARING THE SUNFLOWER. THEY MAY NEED A LITTLE BIT MORE OF YOUR TIME, A SEAT, OR HELP TO MOVE THROUGH THE CROWD. How it all started ‘Assisting people with hidden disabilities Not all people with hidden disabilities require assistance. However we believe there is an optional opportunity to provide them with a ‘discreet sign’ which demonstrates to staff that they may need additional support or help. Tabbers Green has been working with Gatwick Airport to improve the airport experience for passengers. The Hidden Disabilities lanyard is intended for passengers who are travelling who might need assistance.’ www.hiddendisabilitiesstore.com PERFORMING ARTS STAGE DANCE STAGE Styx Singing For P 10.30 10.30 Wheel Chairography Health Choir 11.00 Fitsteps Guernsey Youth Theatre 11.30 11.45 KD Dance Ltd (GYT) Singers R 12.45 Irish Dance Guernesy Aindre Reece- Sheerin 12.10 13.30 Les Danceurs Kim Reece-Sheerin 12.30 de L’Assemblaie Guernesais O 13.00 Avril Earl Dance & Guernsey Dancers Theatre Art Centre 14.15 Avril Earl Dance Gateway Choir 13.30 & Theatre Arts Centre G 13.45 DS Allstars 15.15 Dance !
