MEDFORD COMMEMORATIVE ISSUE

Message from the Chairman

Guru Roop Sadh Sangat Ji:

Waheguru Ji Ka , Ji Ki Fateh

It is an honor to present you this Commemorative Issue on the auspicious occasion of Vesakhi 2005. This year also marks the first anniversary of our Gurdwara’s new premises and that makes the occasion all the more special.

By the grace of Waheguru and the support of our Sangat we have built our own Gurdwara. What appeared like a distant dream a couple of years ago was realized by your support last year. Not only did we get our own premises, it is also functioning more efficiently through your support.

We have two Darbar Halls, a Conference Room, a Classroom, Office Rooms and a fully operational kitchen. We are aiming to establish a Library fully equipped with audio‐visual aids to assist learning amongst our youth. On the Parchaar side, we have the Gurmat Lecture Series and Gurmukhi, Kirten and classes. We take pride in our Nanak Darbar Kirteni Jatha, which graces us by their Kirten on every occasion. As for activities we have been able to organize Akhand Paaths on all major occasions and a Gurmat Samelan last year, which was not only successful but also became very popular among the members of our Sangat. I am proud that our children and youth are fully involved in all these activities.

I would like to thank all our members, donors, sewadars, youth, children and their parents for their role in making the Gurdwara a success. I also thank the Management Committee, which has managed the Gurdwara’s maintenance, programs and activities with great care and devotion. I would like to thank Bhai Karminder Singh Ji for his services to our Gurdwara for the past four years.

On this auspicious occasion of Vesakhi, lets pledge to make our Gurdwara an icon of , and Sikh values. May Waheguru show us the right path and give us strength to travel on it.
