MetCom, South Metro Fire Rescue’s emergency dispatch center that also serves several other fi re departments in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties, is known internationally for its high standards of service. This spring it earned two awards that separate it from most public safety access points (PSAP). The International Academies of Emergency Dispatch re-accredited MetCom as an Emergency Medical Dispatch Center of Excellence.
