ORDINANCE NO. ; . 17922~ An ordinance amending Subsection 73 of Section 88.00 of Chapter VIII of the Los Angeles Municipal Code to revise the boundaries of the Silverlake Parking Meter Zone. THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF iOS ANGELES DO ORDAIN AS FOllOWS: Section 1. Subsection 73 of Section 88.00 of Chapter ViII of the Los Angeles Municipal Code, is amended to read: 73. Silver lake Parking Meter Zone - $0.25 per hour. This zone includes: (a) All streets within the area bounded by the following street segments: (1 ) Sunset Boulevard between Glendale Boulevard and Fountain Avenue. (2) Fountain Avenue between Sunset Boulevard and Hyperion Avenue. (3) Hyperion Avenue between Fountain Avenue and Rowena Avenue. (4) Rowena Avenue between Hyperion Avenue and Glendale Boulevard. (5) Glendale Boulevard between Rowena Avenue and Sunset Boulevard. (b) The boundary street segments set forth in (a) above, except that portion of Sunset Boulevard between Glendale Boulevard and Rosemont Avenue. (c) All streets intersecting Sunset Boulevard between Rosemont Avenue and Fountain Avenue, from Sunset Boulevard to the southerly end of the contiguous commercial properties. All streets intersecting Fountain Avenue between Sunset Boulevard and Hyperion Avenue, from Fountain Avenue to the end of the northerly contiguous commercial properties. (d) All streets intersecting Hyperion Avenue between Fountain Avenue and Rowena Avenue, from Hyperion Avenue to the end of the westerly contiguous commercial properties. 1 (e) All streets intersecting Rowena Avenue between Hyperion Avenue and Glendale Boulevard, from Rowena Avenue to the end of the nnortherly contiguous commercial properties. (f) All streets intersecting Glendale Boulevard between Rowena Avenue and Sunset Boulevard, from Glendale Boulevard to the end of the easterly contiguous commercial properties. 2 Sec. 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and have it published in accordance with Council policy, either in a daily newspaper circulated in the City of Los Angeles or by posting for ten days in three public places in the City of Los Angeles: one copy on the bulletin board located at the Main Street entrance to the Los Angeles City Hall; one copy on the bulletin board located at the Main Street entrance to the Los Angeles City Hall East; and one copy on the bulletin board located at the Temple Street entrance to the Los Angeles County Hall of Records. RICO, state as follows: I am, and was at all times hereinafter mentioned, a resident of the State of California, over the age of eighteen years, and a Deputy City Clerk of the City of Los Angeles, California. Ordinance No. 179224 - Amending Subsection 73 of Section 88.00 of Chapter VIII of the Los Angeles Municipal Code to revise the boundaries of the Silverlake Parking Meter Zone - a copy of which is hereto attached, was finally adopted by the Los Angeles City Council on Septemer 19, 2007, and under the direction of said City Council and the City Clerk, pursuant to Section 251 of the Charter of the City of Los Angeles and Ordinance No. 172959, on October 4, 2007 I posted a true copy of said ordinance at each of three public places located in the City of Los Angeles, California, as follows: 1) one copy on the bulletin board located at the Main Street entrance to the Los Angeles City Hall; 2) one copy on the bulletin board located at the Main Street entrance to the Los Angeles City Hall East; 3) one copy on the bulletin board located at the Temple Street entrance to the Hall of Records of the County of Los Angeles. Copies of said ordinance were posted conspicuously beginning on October 4, 2007 and will be continuously posted for ten or more days.
