UNPUBLISHED LETTERS, DIARIES AND REPORTS

There is a selection of diaries, letters and re ports in the Department of Documents at the Imperial War Museum, London. Many of the reports, particularly those dealing with charities, are on microfilm, and were com• piled by Annette Hullah in the years 1919-20. They are included under the general heading of Benevolent Societies. Annette Hullah was the Secretary of the Music in War-Time Committee.

ANNUAL REVIEWS, MAGAZINES AND NEWS PAPERS

A collection of 17ze Stage rear Books can be seen in both the Theatre Museum Library, Covent Garden, London and the Westminster Library, London. In each volume can be found annual reviews for both the 'legitimate' theatres and the Variety music halls. Newspapers and magazines, including the theatrical press - 17ze Era and 17ze Stage - are housed at the National Newspaper Library in Colindale, north London.
