DESTRUCTION, BELPHEGOR AND VESEN TO 2017 First off we have some sad news that Possessed had to cancel their tour in April. Possessed's Jeff Becerra says “This is the very first show I have ever had to cancel in my entire career so while it pains me immensely. Because of personal reasons we are unfortunately unable to make this show. But we most definitely hope to make this show at a later date.” On the other hand we are adding Destruction, Belphegor and Vesen to the bill. With this our lineup for Inferno Metal Festival 2017 is completed apart from a competition winner band to be determined later this week!

DESTRUCTION

Germany's thrash metal veterans Destruction are one of the pioneers of Teutonic thrash metal and are considered to be one of the four big ones from the German thrash metal scene together with Sodom, and Tankard. Since their debut album “Infernal Overkill” in 1985, that band has not only had a big impact on the thrash metal scene, but was also a big influence within black metal. Destruction's fourteenth studio album, “Under Attack”, was released last year. This means that is time to attack Inferno Metal Festival again! https://www.facebook.com/destruction/

BELPHEGOR

Get ready for a special ritual show by Austria death machine Belphegor! The band was formed in 1991 in Zalsburg as Betrayer. Since then Belphegor has conquered nearly every continent on the planet and continues performing their infamous rituals in both old and new territory. Belphegor is now working on the follow-up to the critically acclaimed 2014 recording “Conjuring the Dead” that will be released later this year. The band will take a break from the studio to bring the Inferno audience their infamous "Death/ Black Metal" sound. https://www.facebook.com/belphegor/

VESEN

Vesen was formed in the Norwegian wilderness with only one intension; to create some ugly black thrash metal. Their new album, “Rorschach”, was just released and praised by fans and critics. Their mission is still the same; create some ugly black thrash metal! Vesen may be some grumpy old men today – but they can still kick some ass, bang some heads and make your ears bleed! https://www.facebook.com/Vesen-77038770253/
