The Georgetown Softball team has continued to show improvement each season under fourth-year head coach Pat Conlan, as she has built the Hoyas into a Division I program from scratch. A year ago the team played its first full season schedule, as several play- ers garnered individual honors for their play. In 2009, GU will begin play in the BIG EAST Conference with a more experienced team than they have had the luxury of carrying in program history.

Pat Conlan enters her fourth season as the Division I program in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
