Climent has a Degree in Sociology and Post Degree in Advanced Methods of Applied Statistics. He was Assistant Professor in the University of Valencia, Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology for more than 12 years. Since 2018, he is Assistant Professor in the University of Alicante, Department of Sociology I. Since starting his academic activity in 2007, he has been in charge of several subjects, all of them in the field of the Methodologies for the Social Sciences. Besides, he has also taken part as lead researcher in a wide variety of projects, funded by public sources, in the field of labour market, inequality, local development and social structure and stratification. Víctor is also responsible for several entrepreneurship programmes carried out by the Career Centre of the University of Alicante, as well as for the analysis of the transition from the education to the labour market of the graduates. As member of both management and academic staff, Víctor has been actively involved leading and collaborating with several International Projects funded by the European Commission: EQUAL, K2 Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education, Knowledge Alliances, Alfa, as well as by National and Regional sources of funding. All the projects where Victor has intensively participated are focused on developing student services and / or creating research support structures for enhancing the transfer of knowledge in the field of labour market. Aside his academic and university work he has been Senior Consultant for National Public Companies as ENRESA (Empresa Nacional de Residuos Radioactivos) or INSALUD (Instituto Nacional de Salud), where more than a few tasks stand out as: Strategic Plan Assessment or Strategic Plan for local development of municipalities affected by nuclear waste repositories. .
