 Rubber plantation was introduced in IWMP during 2010-11

 Presently an area of 805.93 ha. and 641 no. of beneficiaries is under Rubber plantation of IWMP.

 Financial assistance @ Rs. 75,270/- per hectare has been provided from IWMP to the beneficiaries on an average.

 Intercropping has been done with crops like Banana, Papaya, Turmeric, Ginger etc. to generate subsidiary income during the initial years.
