(a) In the event of the above said parties failing to meet the requirement of the minimum number of candidates, as prescribed in Para lOB of the said Symbols Jrder, 1968, i.e., 10% of total number of Parliamentarr Constituencies in the concerned State/UT subject to a minimum of two constituencies in States having less than twenty parliamentary constituencies allotted to the State (except the States having only one seat), in which it seeks allotment of a common symbol to their candidates, then the said common symbol shall not be available to their candidates. And/or (b) In the event of the above said parties failing to meet the requirement of the minimum number of candidates, as prescribed in Para lOB of the said Symbols Order, 1968, i.e., 10% of total number of Assembly Constituencies in the concerned State in case of Assembly election, then the said common symbol shall not be available to its candidates.
