It will be 12 months to the day since they squared off for the Kitzbuhel crown. Goffin won that encounter and leads their head-to- head series 3-1. The final marks the first time in the Open Era that their respective countries are represented in the Gstaad final. All 1990s Finals: This is the third ATP World Tour final with both finalists born in the 1990s. Previous finals are: o 2014 Washington: Raonic d. Pospisil o 2014 Kitzbuhel: Goffin d. Thiem Born in 1990s Winners: Goffin and Thiem continue their quest to become the fourth player born in the 1990s to win three or more ATP World Tour titles.
