All four players along with the four other unseeded quarter-finalists arrying to capture their first ATP World Tour title of the season. In fact, Carreno Busta is the only player left to reach an ATP World Tour final in 2016. He is a two-time finalist. In the opening match on Centre Court, Carlos Berlocq of Argentina takes on Chardy, who won the previous meeting on grass in Eastbourne two years ago. The 33-year-old Berlocq is appearing in his first ATP World Tour quarter-final since reaching the semi-finals on home soil in Buenos Aires in February 2015 (l. to Nadal). UVOD 2011. godina, u rezultatskom smislu, protekla je u znaku pojedinaca (Šain, Šimić, Seligman, Marković, Horvat, Vekić), kao i rezultatskog bljeska OK Mursa koji je pred kraj godine osvojio naslov pobjednika Kupa Hrvatske. RK Nexe iz Našica nastavio je s kvalitetnim radom, što mu je osiguralo 2. mjesto na ljestvici, ali i pozive pojedincima u hrvatsku rukometnu reprezentaciju. Olimpijska norma, a samim tim i nastup na Olimpijskom igrama u Londonu 2012. godine, za neke naše športaše ostala je nedosanjani san, neki će borbu nastaviti i u 2012. godini, dok je David Šain, na Svjetskom veslačkom prvenstvu, izborio vizu osvajanjem bronce u četvercu na pariće. Ivan Horvat obarao je hrvatske rekorde na otvorenim atletskim stazama i u dvoranama, što mu je osiguralo drugo mjesto na Svjetskim rang listama skoka s motkom za juniore. Usmjeravanjem financijskih sredstava, Osječko-baranjska županija, pokušala je očuvati šport. Posebice se nastoji stvoriti kvalitetan ustroj i sustav koji će omogućiti vraćanje temeljnim odrednicama i zamislima športa te podići vrijednost športa do razine svijesti svih čimbenika društva. II.
