Directly translated the title would be: Without Country, On the Peaceroad Through the World. I didn’t know much Galtung, or if I did, I had forgotten or not stored it. I guess you can say I had been pretty spaced out for years. Leaving Television behind over 10 years ago, for the mix of tragedy and war and mindless entertainment, images and information, was depressing me. The constant information of media had me overwhelmed and I had decided I needed out in the world to see it for myself. So I think I blocked out the media-world for a long time. Blocked out all the ‘important’ information shooting at us, blocked out anything that felt like a forced truth, to try to see for myself. Eventually I tried to bring that back and into the same media I had run from, by studying photojournalism. But on this day in February 2015, I had knocked on the door of Georg Ivanovitsj in Neiden, heading an invitation to coffee I had gotten three years earlier at the opening of the Salmon- season in the town.
