ADVANCED ORAL SPANISH IN SPAIN 2022 SEVILLA, SPAIN

Immerse yourself in the language, culture, and through a Jan Term program in Sevilla! is located in southwestern Spain and is the provincial capital of Andalucía. With a population of about 700,000, Sevilla offers a rich historical environment in which to improve your Spanish fluency and to experience living in another culture. Take a -appropriate Spanish conversation course and participate in homestays, cultural experiences, and a wide range of excursions. Travel to Córdoba, , and Cádiz as you get to know the rich history and culture of Andalucía. Finally, spend three days exploring and some of the most important sites this has to offer.

Itinerary: . Depart Spokane Monday, January 3rd – arrive in Seville Tuesday, January 4th . Return Madrid/Spokane Wednesday, January 26th (Dates are approximate and be modified slightly)

January 4-23:  Homestays  Intensive level-appropriate Advanced Oral Spanish class 3 hrs. a day  Diverse cultural activities and visits in Seville to get to know the city and the culture of Andalucía  Educational excursions to Cadiz, Córdoba, and Madrid

Projected cost: $4,800 (depending on exchange rates and enrollment). This includes airfare, housing (double room) with three meals a day, all transportation, and all planned excursions. Cost does not include the Whitworth Jan term course fee, or visa fees, or other incidentals.

Early Bird Special: The EBS is an incentive program that gives students a $100 credit if they: make ALL payments in time according to the payment plan; turn in all required paperwork in accordance with Off- Campus Programs deadlines; and meet the Health Center’s deadlines for fulfilling the Travel Health Clinic requirement.

Off-Campus Programs Travel Grant ($300, $500 or $1000 depending on program): This is a need-based travel grant. Application information will be communicated upon acceptance to the program.
