IBI GROUP TO DELIVER FIRST GREEK HYBRID TOLLING MOTORWAY SYSTEM IBI Group has been awarded the Olympia Odos Hybrid Toll Collection System (TCS) project in Greece by the Apion Kleos Construction Joint Venture Consortium. The project will add 30 Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) free-flow gantry stations to the existing Toll Collection System on the Olympia Odos motorway (delivered by IBI Group in 2017). These new ETC stations will support the provision of rebates based on the exact distance travelled along the motorway to ETC subscribers. “With the implementation of the Hybrid TCS, IBI Group is helping us deliver a system that provides fairer charges to ETC users, helps increase the acceptance and penetration of the O- pass, and attracts local, frequent customers,” said Dr. Panagiotis Papanikolas, Olympia Odos CEO. Antulio Richetta, IBI Group Director of Eastern Europe and Project Lead, commented: "We are proud to be the first to deliver this unique project in collaboration with Olympia Odos, introducing a state-of-the-art, distance-based pricing model in Greece.” IBI Group is responsible for the turnkey provision of the Hybrid TCS, including the overall project management, design, supply of the toll software, equipment procurement, installation, integration and configuration, software support and maintenance. Olympia Odos is a 202-km modern motorway concession fully delivered in 2017 and is of high strategic and economic importance for Greece. The motorway connects Athens with the cities of Corinth and Patras and serves the port of Patras, an important commercial and touristic European gateway. In 2019, Olympia Odos was nominated as one of five finalists for the “2019 Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement (OCEA) Award” by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). The project is expected to be delivered during 2020 and is likely to attract more motorway concession schemes that could apply IBI Group’s distance-based pricing model. .

Rueil-Malmaison, 20 January 2014 Press release Resumption of work on two large Greek motorway concession projects in which VINCI is a shareholder • A total investment of €3.1 billion • More than 10,000 jobs generated • Set to open to traffic by the end of 2015 Following three years of intensive work with the Greek government and its financial partners, VINCI announces the resumption of construction work on the 365 km motorway between Athens and Tsakona and the 240 km motorway section between Maliakos Bay and Kleidi. The two concession projects underwent in-depth restructuring that made it possible to complete their refinancing in December 2013 and to resume construction work at the beginning of 2014. The two projects account for a total investment of €3.1 billion (Athens-Tsakona: €1.8 billion, Maliakos-Kleidi: €1.3 billion). VINCI Concessions is a 30% shareholder in the Olympia Odos company, which holds the concession for the Athens- Tsakona motorway, and a 15% shareholder in the Aegean Motorway company, which holds the concession for the Maliakos-Kleidi motorway. The resumption of these projects, which are crucial to Greek infrastructure competitiveness, illustrates the long- term strength of the public-private partnership model, notwithstanding cyclical fluctuations. In addition, the projects boost local economic development. The resumption of work with a view to opening the motorways to traffic by the end of 2015 will account for about 10,000 direct and indirect jobs during peak construction. The infrastructure investment gap is between 0.8 pp of GDP (against the European average) or 1.4 pp of GDP (against historical performance) translating into 1.1% or € 2bln new spending per year • Infrastructure investments have an economic multiplier of 1.8x** which can boost demand of other sectors. The construction sector will be enhanced creating new employment opportunities on a regular basis, attracting foreign investors and improving economic growth • Greece is ranked 26th among the E.U. countries in terms of infrastructure quality, along with systematic low infrastructure quality countries, mostly in Southern Europe • Greek infrastructure backlog has grown enormously during the crisis.
