RTITM 2017 GENERAL INFORMATTION

In the second week of February, minimum and maximum temperatures hover around 13°C and 28°C respectively. The nights and early mornings are quite chilly sometimes. Hence, the participants are advised to carry warm clothes. Accommodation will be borne by the participants. The following information regarding accommodation in may be useful.

Air: The nearest airport is 'Bagdogra' only 65 km fropm the college campus.

Railways: Jalpaiguri Road (JPE) is the nearest station from the college. However, the hotels are located closer to Jalpaiguri Town station (JPG) station. You can also get down at the New Jalpaiguri station (NJP) and catch a bus or a cab to reach the college.

Roadways: NBSTC, CSTC, ITDC and a number of private operators regularly ply buses between the Tenzing Norgay bus terminus at and the bus terminuses at Esplanade, Ultadanga and . Buses leave from Tenzing Norgay bus terminus for Jalpaiguri at regular intervals of 10 to 15 minutes. Any of these can be availed of to reach Jalpaiguri town. After that, rickshaws can ferry you to the college campus.
