Further information can be found on page 100. 1 ABOUT THE SCHEDULES The flights contained in this timetable are based on an average period and subject to change for a variety of reasons. Seasonal holidays may result in some cancellations. Schedules may also vary around public holidays or when changes occur to Daylight Saving Time. Schedules are updated frequently on the Internet and can be found at ba.com Downloadable timetables, updated monthly, are available for PC and a variety of PDA devices and can be found on ba.com/mobilezone Connections Minimum connection times between flights vary by airport, often depending upon whether it is domestic to domestic, international to international, international to domestic or vice versa and whether a change of terminal is involved. For information on connections please refer to ba.com. Check In Online Check-in is a simple and convenient service that enables you to check in, choose your preferred seat and print your boarding pass (selected routes only) all from the comfort of your own home or office. Online Check-in opens 24 hours before your flight departs. To check in online simply go to ba.com and follow the instructions. Alternatively you can check in using one of our Check-in kiosks, which are found in the airport terminals. Terms and Conditions When you buy a ticket to travel on a British Airways flight you enter into a contract of carriage with us. Your flights and any services provided are subject to: G Any tariffs or special conditions which apply to your fare G The conditions of contract and notices contained in your ticket or itinerary and receipt G The carrier’s General Conditions of Carriage G Any applicable regulations. Such conditions and regulations are incorporated by reference into and made part of the contract of carriage. Before you fly G If you suffer from any medical conditions or are on long-term medication, talk to your doctor about your travel plans and discuss whether you need to take any special precautions when flying. G Check if you need anti-malarial advice and remember that a full course of immunisation takes at least four weeks to complete. G Carry any regular medication in your hand baggage and ensure you have adequate supply for the duration of your trip. For hand baggage guidelines see ba.com/baggage. G If you have any concerns about your health when travelling, for example Traveller’s Thrombosis (DVT), please refer to our website ba.com/health or consult your GP. G Allow plenty of time to prepare for your flight and get to the airport in order to avoid rushing or stress. Avoid heavy meals. Dress in loose, comfortable clothing and let a trolley take the weight of your baggage. During the flight G Eat a light meal and drink water. Little and often is best. Go easy on alcohol, coffee and tea. G Try not to sit still for too long. When convenient, get out of your seat and move around the cabin. Stand up and stretch your arms and legs every couple of hours and carry out the recommended exercises outlined in our in-flight magazine, High Life. G Indulge in some moisturiser to keep your skin feeling fresh. G Help your body cope better when travelling to new time zones by taking every opportunity to sleep en route. Every little nap will help. Our in-flight well being audio channel will help you drift off. Don’t forget to remove contact lenses before you sleep. When you land G When you get to your destination take a gentle stroll to stimulate the circulation, then, if you can, put your feet up and relax.
