Key: ●: Short term negative impact; * Moderate negative impact; Θ: Positive impact; ×: Insignificant impact

It is evident from the above table that the proposed project would lead to immense positive impacts. Adequate planning would aid in mitigating some of the negative impacts and also lead towards betterment of human health and environment. Short term negative impact of the proposed project would be during the construction phase. The positive impact of the project would be job opportunities during construction phase and operational phase. Also developer would be providing parking slots for commercial vehicles in the proposed site. Major benefits would be in terms of employment, economic progress of the region, increased in property value and other social benefit. This EMP is planned towards strategizing in reduction of impacts on following factors, both in construction and operational phase:

 Air environment  Noise environment  Surface and Ground Water  Ecological aspects  Transportation  Human Health  Land use  Socio Economics Minor impacts anticipated are on transportation, socio-economic and cultural aspects. The proposed project would have environmental impact in two distinct phases:

 The construction phase would have short-term negative impacts mainly at the construction site from construction activities  The operation phase would have long-term positive impacts on surrounding environment and socio economic values

Depending upon the environment attributes, the impacts can vary widely. They are discussed in the consequence section.

(HC) etc. Even if the full potential of technical and operational measures is achieved to reduce emissions, still the overall level of emissions might increase from different sources. The number of people potentially affected by these emissions would depend on their proximity to the pollution sources and the local conditions affecting dispersion of the pollutants. The proposed project is a residential high rise building and hence, there would be temporary influx of vehicles. The sources of emissions would be from vehicles. Following table presents the impacts on air environment and possible mitigation measures during operational phase.
