Chef de Cuisine

Sherwood Country Club is a private, member owned and country club in Thousand Oaks, California, set at the base of the . Sherwood is home to a championship 18-hole signature , driving range and Georgian architecture golf clubhouse. Adjacent to the golf club is the tennis clubhouse, swimming pool, fitness facility and spa. There are a total of 14 tennis courts, including 8 hard courts (one with stadium seating), three clay courts and three grass courts. The courts are lit for night play.

Sherwood Country Club is searching for an experienced Chef de Cuisine. The Chef de Cuisine will assist the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in food production and supervising of kitchen staff in a high volume fine dining establishment. Duties include:  Oversee all restaurant functions  Eliminate waste of hours, products and materials  Support orderliness and cleanliness in all kitchen areas

Minimum requirements: graduate of Culinary Institute and minimum of 5 years working as Chef/Sous Chef in food service industry. Excellent communication skills a must. Private club experience highly desirable. Must be Food Handler Certified.
