NASW PACE Committee - 2020 Endorsements

NASW PACE endorses and financially contributes to candidates from any party who support NASW’s policy agenda. The national PACE Board of Trustees endorses and contributes to federal candidates, and the NASW-IN Chapter PACE endorses and contributes to local and state level races.

NASW-IN PACE encourages our members to support and vote for the endorsed candidates in your district. If you have the time, we also encourage you to actively campaign for these candidates. If rd you are not sure of the location of your polling place or who is on your ballot for the November 3 election, check online at www.indianavoters.in.gov.

The NASW Indiana PACE committee spent time this summer reviewing voting records for incumbent candidates, reviewing responses to a questionnaire that the committee created, and discussing individual candidate positions on topics that are important to NASW, our members and the clients our members serve. In particular, the committee discussed systemic racism and included potential action steps in our questionnaire of candidates, so that the committee could ascertain their position.

It is the Committee’s belief that the endorsed legislators will continue to support the values and ethics that we as social workers hold dear.
