Neuharth will best be remembered for his launch of USA Today in 1982, a move that would forever change the way American newspapers Slade would look and present it’s daily content to readers. Under his direction he would guide parent company Gannett from revenues of $200 million to more than $3 billion, making it the nation’s largest newspaper company.
