LOWER SCHOOL UNIFORMS, 3rd & 4th GRADE GIRLS All uniform items available at PAWS Store—Midway Campus The majority of 3rd and 4th grade girls wear red logo polo shirts and a plaid skirt on most days. Skirts must be no shorter than one credit card length above the knee. Modesty shorts are required. On dress uniform days girls MUST wear white oxford shirts and a vest and e with their skirts. Some girls choose to wear oxford shirts on a daily or more frequent basis than only dress days, this is permied. Some girls choose to wear navy shorts or pants rather than skirts, this is acceptable, but shorts may not be worn on Thursday. Either long or short sleeved oxford or polo shirts are permied. Polo shirt hems must be at the hips or above. On chapel and special dress days girls must wear a navy cross bow e and so tapered navy v‐neck vest with embroidered logo. Navy or white socks are required. Oxfords, Keds saddle tennis or white tennis shoes are to be worn. Girls may wear a red or navy cardigan, v‐neck sweater or vest with the embroidered logo, New navy hoodie or navy or red fleece available in Paws. August 5, 2021 Dedication of St. Mary Major Dear Parents and Guardians, August is here and we are sure you are starting to prepare for your children's return to school. Today I am writing with some important uniform reminders and updates! Our St. Elizabeth School uniform is an integral part of our school. It not only helps our students identify as members of the St. E’s community, but also helps to promote an appropriate, non-distracting learning environment and teaches our students about appropriate, professional dress as they grow older. We expect that all students will wear their uniform with pride and will wear it appropriately. Our school uniforms are available for purchase at Flynn and O'Hara and we also have a wonderful Uniform Exchange where you can pick up some gently used uniforms. ONE NEW UNIFORM CHANGE IS FOR SHOES. Below is the updated shoe policy. Please note that this change is being made to provide more shoe options that still maintain comfort and stability. If over time the heels of student's shoes are folded and not being worn properly, the administration will decide if the shoes are no longer appropriate. Boy's School uniform shoes- Boys in grades JK - 1 wear black or brown, slip on or velcro shoes Boys in grades 2-8- wear leather and/or canvas low-cut tie shoes, i.e. Doc Martin/Buck and boat style and canvas tie shoes. Shoes should be of one solid approved color, and the soles can be white or tan.. The approved colors are black, brown, tan, and navy. -

I walked by this store dozens of times and thought nothing of it. One day, though, with my shoes looking a little scuffed and some time on my hands, I decided to avail myself of this small bounty. After my shine, I offered the shoeshine man a tip. He refused. Free was free, he said. I climbed down from the chair feeling distinctly indebted. “How could this guy shine my shoes,” I thought, “and expect nothing?” So I did what I suspect most people who take the offer do—I looked around for something to buy. DECEMBER 4, 2014 1 THE DECEMBER 4, 2014 VOL. 71, NO. 46 OINTER IEW® DUTY, HONOR, COUNTRY PSERVING THE U.S. MILITARY ACADEMY AND THE COMMUNITY V OF WEST POINT ® The Wait is Over The moment nears as envelopes are distributed and the fi rsties await the command to open and reveal their new branch insignia Nov. 20 during the branch notifi cation ceremony at Eisenhower Hall Theatre. With the addition of Cyber, cadets now have 17 commissionable branches they can enter after graduation. DMI provides a four-year education and mentorship program designed so cadets can make informed decisions on their branch preferences, but ultimately, branching is determined by the needs of the Army. This year, 96 percent of the Class of 2015 received one of its top fi ve choices and 80 percent of the class received its top branch preference. Branch Night for the Class of 2015 included remarks from the commandant of cadets and retired Lt. Gen. Joseph DeFrancisco, Class of 1965 graduate and recipient of the Distinguished Graduate award.
