Stepping into the brand-new Marshall Studio with legendary producer Chris Sheldon (, Gun, Feeder), Bad Touch have recorded a rocking cover of Edwin Starr’s classic Twenty-Five Miles. Vocalist Stevie Westwood said ‘This was one of the most fun song’s we have recorded, putting a rock spin on such a classic Motown track we felt like we had a bit more freedom with where we could take it. It’s loud, it’s funky and most importantly; it’s got soul.”

Released ahead of their November 2021 tour, Bad Touch were one of the first bands to enter the new state of the art Marshall Studio recording studio.

The Marshall Studio is a state-of-the-art recording facility located at Marshall Amplification’s global headquarters in Bletchley, Buckinghamshire built around a 70’s Neve 8048, heavily modified and customised for Marshall by Neve specialist Blake Devitt. Stevie Westwood described working there as “an amazing opportunity. After such an awful 18 months for the music business, to be invited to such a space was a real gift… and we thank Chris for making our tunes sound interstellar.”

Bad Touch will tour the UK in November and December 2021, previously rescheduled from April 2021 (all original tickets remain valid). Special guests on all shows except Leo’s Red Lion are PISTON.

Tickets are now available from www.badtouchrocks.co.uk/gigs-tours.

The 15-date tour includes their hometown Norwich (Nov 17), Newcastle (Nov 19), Glasgow (Nov 20), Southampton (Dec 1) and (Dec 2), plus many more dates.

Bad Touch will perform songs from their critically acclaimed current studio album “Kiss the Sky”, as well as songs from their vast catalogue. Known for having a reputation as one of the UK’s hardest working bands, Bad Touch are looking forward to performing live for their UK fans in November and December.

BAD TOUCH – BIOGRAPHY

Bad Touch are a 5-piece classic rock band from Norfolk, UK. Most people see growing up in Norfolk as a disadvantage, but Bad Touch owe the core of their sound to their countryside surroundings. Those formative years of listening to the likes of Led Zeppelin, The Black Crowes, Free and Lynyrd Skynyrd whilst looking out on the rolling countryside and hard-working people gave them an escape to help create their infectious blend of rock, country, and blues.

Having just completed their fourth album at the legendary Rockfield Studios with Nick Brine (The Darkness, Thunder, Ash), the New Wave of Classic Rock favourites will release Kiss the Sky in June 2020 on Marshall Records, Bad Touch are gearing up for a busy year of touring, including a main stage appearance at Ramblin’ Man Fair.

After signing to Marshall Records in 2018, Bad Touch released third album Shake A Leg which featured Planet Rock Radio favourites Lift Your Head Up and Too Many Times and critical acclaim across the board and built upon the reputation the band had cemented with tracks like their duet with Mollie Marriott, a cover of Ike & Tina Turner’s classic Baby Get It On and crowd pleaser ‘99%’ from 2016’s Truth Be Told.

Bad Touch have extensively toured the UK and Europe, being seen at festivals such as Download Festival, Ramblin’ Man Fair and Planet Rockstock. They have toured with Skid Row, The Answer, Broken Witt Rebels, Those Damn Crows, The Quireboys, FM and more.

Bad Touch are Stevie Westwood (vocals), Daniel Seekings (guitar, vocals), Rob Glendinning (guitar), Michael Bailey (bass) and George Drewry (drums, vocals).

After forming in a cabin in Dereham in 2010, Bad Touch immediately made an impact on the UK rock scene with their debut EP, playing Hard Rock Hell for the first time, winning an Exposure Music Award, and winning the Marshall Amplification ‘Ultimate Band Contest’, which furthered their relationship with the legendary music brand. Debut album ‘Half-Way Home’ was self-released in 2015 and opened for the likes of The Answer and The Quireboys.
