This weekend Region 2 will move two bridges into place. I-15 southbound in North Salt Lake will be closed Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10 p.m. through Sunday, Oct. 24 at 12 p.m. to replace the first half of the U.S. 89 Bridge over I-15. The second half of the U.S. 89 Bridge will move next week, when I-15 will be closed in both directions between I-80 and I-215 from Friday, October 30 at 10 p.m. until Saturday, October 31 at 4 p.m. I-80 westbound between Foothill Boulevard and State Street in Salt Lake will be closed Saturday, Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. through Sunday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. to replace the westbound 2300 East Bridge.
