No. II(2)/MAWS/601/2009.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Parks, Play-fields and Open Spaces (Preservation and Regulation) Act, 1959 (Tamil Nadu Act 26 of 1959), and in supersession of the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department Notification No. II(2)/MW/657/97, published at pages 178 to 181 in Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 5th March 1997, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby publishes the list of Parks, Play-fields and Open Spaces in the area within the jurisdiction of the Sivagangai Municipality set out in the Schedule to the Notification.

2. The maps, plans and documents relating to the said Parks, Play-fields and Open Spaces will be available to the public for inspection at the Municipal Office, Sivaganga between 10.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. on all working days.

3. Any person interested, may submit his objections or suggestions, if any in writing in respect of anything contained therein, or relating to the list aforesaid to the Government within three months from the date of publication of this Notification in Sivaganga District Gazette.
