PONTYPOOL HILL CLIMBS by D. Nigel Jones ECENTLY having taken over R the Secretaryship of the South Wales centre I should like to notify readers of BARe NEWS of our plans at Pontypool Park this year. We have twice had to change the date of our first hill-climb, once to accommodate the Castrolf BARC Championship with a round at Loton Park, and once because of clashing with the last day of the Welsh Rally at L1an dow, which also had first call on the timekeeper. The dates for the season are now: May 31, June 21, July 12, and September 20, the first and last being rounds of the Castrolf BARC Championship.
