hi!DataRoam Specific Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

“hi!DataRoam” refers to the various Mobile Prepaid Data Roam Plans described in clause 2 below.

“General Terms” refers to Limited's General Terms and Conditions of Service found at www.singtel.com/prepaid.

“Main Account” refers to the User’s charging account for the purchase of hi!DataRoam plans.

“Specific Terms” refers to Singapore Telecommunications Limited’s Specific Terms and Conditions of Service.

“Singtel Mobile” refers to Singtel Mobile Singapore Pte Ltd (CRN: 201012456C).

“User” refers to the Customer of SingTel who is the registered owner of the Singtel Mobile Prepaid line.

Words and expressions used in this hi!DataRoam special Terms and Conditions shall have the same meaning as defined in the General Terms and/or the Specific Terms unless the context otherwise requires.

The headings or titles to the clauses in this hi!DataRoam special Terms and Conditions are for reference only and shall not be referred to or relied upon in the construction of any provision of these hi!DataRoam Plans Terms and Conditions.

2. Purchase of hi!DataRoam Plans

2.1 The hi!DataRoam plan comprises 100MB of data to be used whilst roaming in the following countries and with the preferred operators.

2.2 User will be able to purchase the plan within Singapore or at Country of destination included in the above plan by calling *100#. The price of the purchased plan shall be deducted against User’s Main Account.

2.3 hi!DataRoam plans provide 100MB of data to be used within 7 days of activation of the plan.

2.4 User can choose when to activate the plan within 30 days of the initial purchase. If the plan is not activated by end of 30 days, the plan will expire.

3. Use of hi!DataRoam

3.1 User must have a data-enabled Singtel Mobile Prepaid SIM card and a suitable Mobile Device / Mobile Equipment for the country of travel.

3.2 User must purchase and activate the relevant plan for the relevant country within the plan. For example the hi!DataRoam Malaysia plan should be purchased and activated for data usage in Malaysia.

3.3 User must be logged on to Singtel’s Preferred Operator in the respective country as indicated in clause 2.1.

4. Accessibility to data usage when Roaming

Accessibility to data usage when roaming is dependent on Singtel’s roaming partners’ support of applicable network technology and functionality. Performance may be impacted by transmission limitations, terrain, in-building/in-vehicle use and other capacity constraints. Singtel does not guarantee availability, speed and coverage of overseas parters’ network.

5. Other

5.1 The User is not in any circumstances, entitled to any refund of the balance remaining in any hi!DataRoam plan or any expired hi!DataRoam plan.

5.2 User is solely responsible for the usage of the hi!DataRoam plan in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

5.3 To the extent permitted by Law, SingTel may amend the terms of the Agreement from time to time and User agrees to the same.

5.4 SingTel Mobile may at its sole discretion terminate or suspend in whole or in part the hi!DataRoam plans without prior notice and without any liability.

5.5 These hi!DataRoam plans are only applicable for new and existing Singtel Mobile Prepaid customers

5.6 In addition to these hi!DataRoam special Terms and Conditions, usage of the service is further subject to the / 4G hi!Card Terms & Conditions, available at: www.singtel.com/prepaid .
