1. What is GOMO Travel SIM?

GOMO Travel SIM is a prepaid, data-only SIM Card for travellers heading to Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Macau, , South Korea and Japan.

FYI, this is a data-only SIM, so no talk time/SMS is included. We suggest using your favourite chat or social apps.

2. How do I activate my data after getting my GOMO Travel SIM?

Simple! Just head over to gomo.sg/activate and choose your desired travel start date. It only takes minutes to complete!

3. How can I check the data balance and expiry date of my GOMO Travel SIM?

Check your data balance and expiry date at gomo.sg/manage.

4. Can I share the data with my friends?

Yes, you can tether the data with a mobile phone or WIFI dongle.

5. How long is the data valid for in my GOMO Travel SIM?

You can use it for 10 days from your desired travel start date.

6. Can I top up the data in my GOMO Travel SIM?

There is no top up option available. You can’t since each GOMO Travel SIM is valid for 10 days only.

7. I have previously purchased a GOMO Travel SIM. Is it still valid?

Yes! Your 3GB travel SIM is still valid for use till 12 June 2020, while your 2GB travel SIM is valid till 21 Feb 2021.

8. I can’t connect to data after landing, please help!

Specific Terms and Conditions for “GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card”

1. Definitions

“General Terms” refers to Singapore Telecommunications Limited's Terms and Conditions of Service – General, as may be amended from time to time, and which is available for inspection at http://www1.singtel.com/terms-general.html.

“Specific Terms” refers to the Specific Terms and Conditions for Singtel Mobile, as may be amended from time to time, and which is available for inspection at http://info.singtel.com/terms-Mobile.

“Singtel Mobile” refers to Singtel Mobile Singapore Pte Ltd (CRN: 201012456C).

“User” refers to a customer who holds a GOMO account with Singtel Mobile subject to the relevant terms and conditions of use of the applicable pre-paid card.

Words and expressions used in this GOMO TRAVEL SIM Terms and Conditions shall have the same meaning as defined in the General Terms and/or the Specific Terms unless the context otherwise requires.

The headings or titles to the clauses in this GOMO TRAVEL SIM Terms and Conditions are for reference only and shall not be referred to or relied upon in the construction of any provision of these GOMO TRAVEL SIM Terms and Conditions.

2. GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card Service

2.1 GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card Service is provided by Singtel Mobile Singapore Pte Ltd. Your activation and continued use of the GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card Service constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions as amended from time to time. We use your personal data for service provision, marketing, security and compliance as further described in our prevailing data protection policy. Details at www.gomo.sg.

2.2 The GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card Service once sold, is non-refundable or exchangeable for cash or any products. There will be no refund for any unused value upon card loss, damage, expiry, termination.

2.3 You are responsible for the safe-keeping and usage of your GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card. SingTel Mobile shall not be liable to you for any loss, theft, misuse or damage of your GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card.

2.4 Unless expressly stated herein, the General Terms and the Specific Terms shall apply in addition to these terms and conditions. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the General Terms and any provision of these terms and conditions, such conflict or inconsistency shall be resolved in accordance with the provisions of the General Terms. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the Specific Terms and any provision of these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions shall prevail over the Specific Terms.

2.5 1900/15xx/1xxx calls and selected mobile data/content access via *SEND or 5-digit short codes will not be available. Local calls, International Calls, Local SMS, International SMS are also not available.

2.6 GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card Service can only be used for data roaming. Availability of the mobile data service is subject to availability of a suitable type of mobile equipment; availability of resources including, without limitation, availability of a suitable network infrastructure at the time when the service is requested or delivered; and geographic and technical capability of the Singtel Mobile network, roaming partner networks, and of Singtel Mobile’s delivery systems at the time and location when the service is requested or delivered. User must be logged on to Singtel’s Preferred Operator in the Data Roaming destination, in order to use the GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card Service.

3. Use of GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card Service

3.1 The unutilized value of the GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card Service will expire at 2359 hours on the date of expiry of the Value Validity Period. The Value Validity Period will not be extended.

3.2 The GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card will be activated on the start date entered in by the customer upon registration on gomo.sg.

3.3 Singtel Mobile's records relating to data usage and charges shall be conclusive evidence of the accuracy, completeness and truth of all matters stated therein and shall be binding on the User. The User agrees that Singtel Mobile's decisions on all matters pertaining to data usage and charges are final. No further correspondence will be entertained in respect of the same.

3.4 Singtel Mobile reserves the right to revise or vary the standard data charges rate as Singtel Mobile may from time to time determine in its sole discretion. The imposition of such revised fees, and changes and amendments thereto, shall be effective upon posting on GOMO’s website at gomo.sg or on such date as may be otherwise stated. The User’s continued use of the GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card Service will constitute acceptance of such revised fees and charges and amendments thereto.

4. Abuse

4.1 Users shall not abuse, misuse, exhaust or otherwise take unfair advantage of the GOMO TRAVEL SIM to the detriment of other Users and/or Singtel Mobile.

4.2 If a User breaches the above condition or if SingTel Mobile in its absolute discretion considers that the use of GOMO TRAVEL SIM by the User will unfairly deprive other SingTel Mobile customers of such services or otherwise adversely affects SingTel Mobile’s interests, SingTel Mobile may, with or without notice to such User suspend or disconnect the GOMO TRAVEL SIM in respect of such User and/or restrict the use of the GOMO TRAVEL SIM by such User.

4.3 Singtel Mobile may at its discretion and/or terminate, suspend in whole or in part any GOMO TRAVEL SIM Card Service without prior notice and without any liability.

Get going on your Travel SIM with the below steps:

1. Activate your GOMO Travel SIM at gomo.sg/activate before travel.

2. Insert the GOMO Travel SIM into your phone upon arrival at your destination.

3. Check that your Access Point Name (APN) is set to ‘hicard’.

4. Restart your phone. Switch on data roaming and get going!
