Beth Willow: We’re looking for a 1950s-style, tea-length, three-quarter sleeve dress. Darker color, but not black. Preferably gray or dark blue. No sleeveless. Check patterns with director. No polka dots. kitten heels or character shoes (see judith and emma)
Ben Willow: Dark “work” style pants, dark crew-neck t-shirt (not black), white, short-sleeve button down shirt, work boot shoes, matching belt
Elizabeth Willow: Knee-ish length skirt or dress. We want to make sure those braces will be visible. no worries on shoes; I’ll take care of orthopedic ones. Lighter, brighter colors, pinks, light blues, etc.
Jeremy: overalls, white tee or patterned button down (we’ll dirty it up!) white keds (used, if possible. We’ll make them look dirty either way)
Timmy: Very Opie from “The Andy Griffith Show”. Jeans, patterned shirt (preferably striped) with Keds-style shoes (like above) Jeans a little “high water” is ok.
Claranelle: 1950s child’s puffy sleeve dress. NOT WHITE. Mary Jane shoes. Pinafore would be fine. I would LOVE to find a vintage coat similar to the one below. Let’s keep our eyes peeled, but it’s not a big deal.
Maddie Louise: Loose-fitting, cotton/gingham dress (see left), keds or lace up ankle boots
Bobby: khaki pants (not a skinny fit), blue button down shirt, red tie, work boots, and matching belt
Nancy: Red polka dot dress, not sleeveless, ruffle socks, black and white oxford saddle shoes or keds
Russell/ Reverend: Black Pants, Black Shirt, White Collar, Button Down Long Sleeve Shirt, White Undershirt, black belt, black shoes, black socks
Woody: jeans, long sleeve button down (see above), matching boots and belt
Judith and Emma: A-line, tea-length dress or dress and top ensemble (think “I Love Lucy”) with kitten heels or character shoes (preferably non-slip shoes, like servers might wear) colors and prints ok, no jewel tones, try to stay away from dark colors
Cindy Sue: collared cotton dress, ruffle socks, keds-style shoes, patterns and colors ok, NO black or dark colors if possible
Skeeter: Think Richie Cunningham from “Happy Days” (Wow .I really love Ron Howard!) Nice jeans, … lighter in color with no fade, preppy style, matching shoes and belt. I think I might die if we could find a letterman jacket somewhere
Billy: jeans, short sleeve button down shirt (see options at Russell), boots and matching shoes, cap, maybe a sweater or leather jacket for when he’s older?
