Covid-19 Global Travel Restrictions 28 September 2021 17:00 UTC Below you will find useful information regarding every country around the world where travel restrictions or other conditions are currently in effect. Countries highlighted in yellow represent those with updates since our last report. Country Travel Restrictions and/or Special Conditions Afghanistan International • Severely limited international services are resuming from Kabul International Airport. Domestic and humanitarian air operations are also affected, by the adverse security situation in country. • Once travel resumes, it is understood that a negative PCR test result is required to enter the country. • Access to land borders with neighbouring countries is unstable due to Taliban control and advancements. Closures occur with little warning. Domestic • Facemasks are required in public places. • Movement between Kabul and the other provinces is severely restricted. Special Conditions • Large gatherings are not permitted. • All schools and universities have been closed. Åland Islands International © 2020 Anvil Group Confidential • The Åland Provincial Government has recommended a voluntary seven-day quarantine after entering from a high-risk area. • Travellers from Åland transiting via boat or ferry to Finland are required to present a negative COVID-19 test prior to boarding. • A negative test result is not necessary to transit to Sweden. Domestic • Measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 include limiting indoor public and private events to 20 people, facemasks are recommended for everyone over the age of 15 on public transportation and all public indoor spaces. Special Conditions N/A Albania International • International commercial flights are operating, but options are limited. • Tirana International Airport is open. • A number of health and safety protocols are in place at airports and for the airlines, including enhanced screening measures. • Land borders are open with the exception of the border with Montenegro, which remains closed until a further notice. • The border crossing with Greece at Krystallopigi is closed. • Greek residents travelling to Greece from Albania you must complete an online Passenger Locator Form (PLF) at least 48 hours before your arrival in Greece. • Those entering the country will have to present a vaccination passport, with evidence of full vaccination no earlier than two weeks prior to the date of entry. Alternatively, travellers can present a negative PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours, a rapid test taken within 48 hours, or a certificate proving full recovery from the virus within the last six months. A quarantine after arrival is not required. Domestic • Citizens are no longer required to wear a mask in public areas, but the mask will continue to be obligatory indoors and while using public transportation. • Curfew hours are from 23:00 to 06:00 local time daily. • Most venues and gatherings are limited to a 50 percent capacity. Special Conditions N/A Algeria International • The country's air and land borders have largely reopened; however, some restrictions remain in place for certain countries. • Inbound travellers over the age of 12 are required to submit a negative PCR test, not older than 36 hours, before departure. The document must be presented at check-in at on arrival. • The country has increased the number of international flights permitted to operate. It has been reported that Air Algerie will operate 32 international flights weekly, consisting of departures from and arrivals at three Algerian airports. • Ferry services are suspended. anvilgroup.com Page 2 of 186 Domestic • The Algerian government extended ongoing COVID-19 confinement measures until 28 September. A curfew is in effect between 22:00 and 06:00 local time, in 31 of the countries wilayas (provinces). These include Laghouat, Oum El Bouaghi, Batna, Béjaïa, Béchar, Blida, Bouira, Tebessa, Tlemcen, Tizi Ouzou, Algiers, Jijel, Sétif, Saïda, Skikda, Sidi Bel Abbes, Annaba, Guelma, Constantine, Mostaganem, M'Sila, Ouargla, Oran, El-Bayadh, Boumerdes, El Oued, Khenchela, Souk Ahras, Naâma, Ain Temouchent and Relizane. The ongoing curfew in these areas has been amended and will now run from 22:00 until 05:00 local time. It is understood that a number of other restrictions have been eased; however, local authorities may adjust controls depending on the epidemiological situation of that area. • Strict social distancing and hygiene protocols must be adhered to when on public transportation. Special Conditions • Face masks are mandatory in all public places. • All gatherings and ceremonies remain banned. American International Samoa • All international flights are suspended until further notice. • All entry has been suspended except for permanent residents. • Vaccination (FDA approved) is now a requirement for entry. • All permitted travellers must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours. • Any person entering the territory must contact the Department of Health at least ten days prior to travel and provide the documents required by the Director of Health. Passengers must submit to a quarantine of 15 days upon arrival in the territory unless the Director of Health or his designee determines based on medical evidence that the person may be released earlier. • Flights from Samoa to American Samoa to bring skilled and technical workers into the territory have been put on hold due to changes in requirements. The Samoa government now required travellers from American Samoa to have a negative COVID-19 test three days before arrival at Faleolo airport. • Authorities are also implementing the use of the 'TalofaPass' online platform, for travellers intending to enter the territory. The online portal is an application through which passengers must provide information such as identity, residency, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, and COVID-19 test registrations to travel. The application must be submitted at least 21 days before departure. Domestic • A State of Public Health Emergency is in place until 10 October. • Officials have implemented the following codes to determine the level of restrictions in place. American Samoa is currently in CODE BLUE. • Code Blue: While coronavirus-free. Entry permits are suspended until further notice, except for residents and approved personnel. Schools are open. Public gatherings and business operations are permitted. • Code Yellow: With one or more confirmed COVID-19 cases, heightened hygiene practises are expected across the islands. Businesses can only operate between 05:00 and 16:00 local time. Restaurants will be open for take away only. Families are encouraged to isolate. Non- essential travel will be restricted. A curfew order beginning at 21:00 will be implemented. anvilgroup.com Page 3 of 186 • Code Red: If experiencing a severe spread of COVID-19, all air and sea travel is suspended, and ports of entry closed, except for military and cargo operations. Businesses can only operate between 05:00 and 12:00 local time. All public gatherings are banned and all ASG operations suspended. Special Conditions • Businesses are permitted to operate between 05:00 and 00:00 local time. All government employees can resume full working hours. • Face masks must be worn in all public spaces, including on transportation and commercial vehicles. Furthermore, all government agencies, as well as all private sector business and organisations, are required to mandate social distancing and mask use inside any building. Children under the age of two years old and people with applicable medical reasons will be exempt from the face mask requirement. Andorra International • French/Spanish confinement measures will affect travel through Andorra. • Any visitor or tourist is required to present national identification and documentation with their reason for staying in Andorra. • Inbound travellers who intend to spend three nights or more in Andorra are asked to provide a negative PCR or TMA test, not older than 72 hours. Entrance to a tourist accommodation may be subject to a negative result. • Visitors from ‘green’ countries are exempt from submitting a test. These locations include France, Spain, and Portugal. • Vaccination status may also exempt travellers from certain restrictions. • Travellers that cannot provide a negative COVID-19 test or proof of full vaccination or recovery, must quarantine for two weeks. Quarantine can be reduced to 10 days with additional post-arrival testing. Domestic • Localised confinements are lifted but could return if infections increase. • Public transport in Andorra is operating at a reduced capacity. Special Conditions • Wearing a face mask is mandatory in enclosed public premises. People are encouraged to stay 1.5 metres apart from each other. • Public gatherings are limited to four people indoors and six outdoors. Angola International • Angola has closed all land and sea borders other than for cargo traffic, humanitarian aid, and the transportation of ill travellers. • There are a number of commercial flights operated by TAP Air Portugal, Ethiopian Airlines, Lufthansa, Air France, Qatar Airways, and Emirates. • All passengers are required to complete an Advance Passenger Information form (FRV form) 72 hours before entry to Angola.
