Les César ! © Gamma © DARMIGNY-PELLETIER/GAMMA Fondée par Georges Cravenne en 1976, l’Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma rassemble aujourd’hui 4959 membres : des professionnels confirmés issus de l’ensemble des corps de métiers de l’industrie cinématographique et 200 membres associés qui soutiennent le cinéma français dans le cadre de leur vie professionnelle. César créa une première version du trophée pour la Cérémonie de 1976 (photo). Il la retravaille par la suite et achève la compression actuelle de la statuette pour la 2e Cérémonie de 1977. Le Règlement de l’Académie donne en préambule comme but de "récompenser les réalisations les plus remarquables du cinéma, en leur conférant chaque année un trophée appelé « César », pour encourager la création cinématographique et attirer sur elle l’attention du public". Son activité consiste tout d’abord en l’élaboration et l’actualisation du Règlement de l’Académie, le recensement des films de cinéma sortis dans l’année et des principales personnes y ayant collaboré, et l’organisation du processus de vote. Puis elle met en place la séquence finale d’attribution des César qui commence dès l’issue du premier tour de vote par l’Annonce des Nominations, se poursuit par les différentes manifestations organisées en l’honneur des différents corps de métier du cinéma, et se termine par l’organisation avec Canal+ de la Cérémonie annuelle de remise des César. 6 7 GOUVERNANCE DE L’ACADÉMIE DES CÉSAR     Chers Amis, bonjour Comme vous le savez tous, nous accueillons ce soir mon PAST GOUVERNEUR Philippe JEAN qui nous fera une conférence après notre dîner sur les canulars scientifiques. Du coup eu égards à notre actualité foisonnante de vrai faux canulars entre la phobie administrative du Député Laurent THEVENOUD, le MOI PRESIDENT de François HOLLANDE, et le grand retour de Nicolas SARKHOZY, je me dis qu’il manque un comique SACARSTIQUE dans cette actualité ……………..c’est COLUCHE. Je vais donc vous parler ce soir de COLUCHE. BIOGRAPHIE : Michel Colucci, dit Coluche, est comme vous le savez un humoriste et comédien français , né le 28 octobre 1944 dans à PARIS et mort le 19 juin 1986 à Opio (Alpes-Maritimes ). Ce n’est qu’en 1974 , qu’il devient célèbre en parodiant un jeu télévisé : Le Schmilblick . Au Cinéma il occupe des rôles de second plan avant de camper des personnages plus centraux puis de tenir le haut de l'affiche durant les années 1980 , essentiellement pour des comédies. En 1984 , il obtient un César du meilleur acteur pour son rôle dramatique dans Tchao pantin . Tour à tour provocateur ou agitateur par ses prises de position sociales, il se présente à l' élection présidentielle de 1981 avant de se retirer Devenu très populaire et apprécié du public, il fonde en 1985 l'association Les Restos du Cœur , relais d'aide aux plus pauvres , quelques mois avant de mourir dans un accident de moto. Mais qui était vraiment COLUCHE Michel Colucci naît le 28 octobre 1944 , dans le XIV e arrondissement de Paris d’une mère, Simone Bouyer dite Monette, employée chez un fleuriste et d’un père, Honorio Colucci, originaire de la région du Latium en Italie N 1 , qui vend des légumes sur les marchés.

Evidentemente la desconcertante evolución social y polí tica de la última década del siglo XX parecen confirmar tal aseveración. Todos los principios é ticos del filósofo alemá n Hegel (1770-1831) que a lo largo de un siglo engendraron movimientos tan dispares como el anarquismo libertario, el comunismo autoritario y el fascismo se han desmoronado como un juego de naipes dejando un importante vací o ideológico que ha sumido en el estupor colectivo a nuestra desorientada generación. Si el siglo XIX fue el siglo de las esperanzas el XX ha sido el de los desengaños. Las creencias má s firmes y má s sólidas se han hundido en su propia rigidez. Por otra parte la serie interminable de crisis económica, polí tica y social de nuestra civilización parece no tener fin. Ante tanta decepción sólo dos principios han permanecido inalterables: el amor y la muerte. Eros y Tá natos, los polos opuestos de un mundo cada vez má s neurótico y vací o. De Tánatos tenemos sobrados ejemplos a cada cual má s siniestro: odio, intolerancia, guerras civiles, nacionalismo exacerbado, xenofobia, racismo, conservadurismo a ultranza, intransigencia, fanatismo… El Sé ptimo Arte ha captado esa evolución social con unas pelí culas cada vez má s violentas, con espectaculares efectos especiales que no nos dejan perder detalle de los aspectos má s sombrí os de nuestro entorno.

    LE JURY DES LONGS MÉTRAGES 2019 La 26e édition du FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DU FILM FANTASTIQUE DE GÉRARDMER se déroulera du 30 janvier au 3 février 2019. Le Jury des Longs Métrages sera co-présidé par les réalisateurs, scénaristes, producteurs et comédiens français : BENOÎT DELÉPINE & GUSTAVE KERVERN © DR Les cinéastes Gustave Kervern et Benoit Delépine font leurs premières armes à la télévision, l’un pour « Le plein de Super », et l’autre pour « Les Guignols de l’info ». Le duo naît de leur rencontre sur les plateaux de l’émission « Groland », incarnation du vent de liberté qui soufflait alors sur Canal+. Fidèles à l’esprit contestataire de la chaîne, ils irriguent leurs réalisations d’une apparente désinvolture, faite d’improvisation et de surréalisme dès leur premier long-métrage Aaltra (2004). Dans leurs films suivants, Avida (2006), Louise Michel (2008), Mammuth (2010), Le Grand soir (2012), ils poursuivent leur vision du monde et mettent en scène des personnages marginaux, laissés pour compte: Yolande Moreau, Benoît Poelvoorde, Mathieu Kassovitz, Albert Dupontel, Gérard Depardieu, Bouli Lanners ou encore Isabelle Adjani se succèdent ainsi devant leur caméra, aux côtés de comédiens non professionnels. En 2014, ils collaborent avec Michel Houellebecq, écrivain lauréat du Prix Goncourt pour « La carte et le territoire » et personnage central sur lequel se construit leur film Near Death Experience.     The Inventory of the Richard Roud Collection #1117 Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center ROOD, RICHARD #1117 September 1989 - June 1997 Biography: Richard Roud ( 1929-1989), as director of both the New York and London Film Festivals, was responsible for both discovering and introducing to a wider audience many of the important directors of the latter half th of the 20 - century (many of whom he knew personally) including Bernardo Bertolucci, Robert Bresson, Luis Buiiuel, R.W. Fassbinder, Jean-Luc Godard, Werner Herzog, Terry Malick, Ermanno Ohni, Jacques Rivette and Martin Scorsese. He was an author of books on Jean-Marie Straub, Jean-Luc Godard, Max Ophuls, and Henri Langlois, as well as the editor of CINEMA: A CRITICAL DICTIONARY. In addition, Mr. Roud wrote extensive criticism on film, the theater and other visual arts for The Manchester Guardian and Sight and Sound and was an occasional contributor to many other publications. At his death he was working on an authorized biography of Fran9ois Truffaut and a book on New Wave film. Richard Roud was a Fulbright recipient and a Chevalier in the Legion of Honor. Scope and contents: The Roud Collection (9 Paige boxes, 2 Manuscript boxes and 3 Packages) consists primarily of book research, articles by RR and printed matter related to the New York Film Festival and prominent directors. Material on Jean-Luc Godard, Francois Truffaut and Henri Langlois is particularly extensive. Though considerably smaller, the Correspondence file contains personal letters from many important directors (see List ofNotable Correspondents). The Photographs file contains an eclectic group of movie stills.

    Remembrance of Things Past: Shakespeare’s Comedies on French Television Sarah HATCHUEL and Nathalie VIENNE -GUERRIN This essay explores how Shakespeare’s comedies were adapted, appropriated and transformed by French television, with a focus on the early days of television. The first striking fact is that, if one is to except stage productions that were filmed and then broadcast, Shakespeare has not been adapted for French television since 1980. In other words, it has been twenty-eight years since a Shakespeare play was last translated, directed and performed for the exclusive benefit of TV viewers. Shakespeare on French television is not our contempor- ary 1. Through the documentary research for this essay, we went back to a time when the mingling of Shakespeare with television seemed to be less daunting and more economically viable than it is today. From the end of the fifties to the seventies, French television offered a substantial cycle: Twelfth Night was directed by Claude Loursais in 1957, then by Claude Barma in 1962; Othello (dir. Claude Barma) appeared on the TV screens in 1962, soon to be followed by Much Ado About Nothing (dir. Pierre Badel), The Merry Wives of Windsor (dir. Roger Iglesis) and The Taming of the Shrew (dir.
