Lucy Patrick Ward​ LUCY PATRICK WARD - Mob: 07947.780.293 Email: [email protected] Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/user3065469 ​ ​ ​ ​ BIO: Lucy Patrick Ward is an award-winning Filmmaker based in London. Her work includes short films, music videos, play trailers and commissioned promo films. As a director, writer and producer, her work has garnered success in over 25 international film festivals, and has been selected for both online and broadcast distribution. She is the winner of the IdeasTap Film Showcase: Fiction (in association with SeeSaw Films), and she has been shortlisted for a number of awards: SkyArts/IdeasTap Futures Fund, Creative England “Funny Girls” Production Fund. Her first short film as a director, Meeting Mr. Tiller, was made whilst studying in New York and played at a number of festivals in the USA. Her second film as director, The Reward, written by playwright Joel Horwood and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Broadchurch) and Anatol Yusef (Boardwalk Empire, Southcliffe), also shot in New York, was picked up for online + Broadcast distribution after a hugely success international film festival run. She has recently completed post-production on her third film as a director, The Nest Egg, starring Paul Copley (Last Tango in Halifax, Downton Abbey) and James Northcote (Life In Squares, A United Kingdom). The film has just begun it’s festival run with it’s first official selection at the Bafta-qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival. She is now in pre-production for two more shorts as director to be completed by the end of 2017, and in development for a feature. Lucy also enjoys a successful career as a producer across short films, music videos + commercial digital content, backed up by a wealth of hands on production and AD experience on some of the UK’s most high profile drama (Life on Mars, Hustle + The Bill) and documentary series (Who Do You Think You Are + Child Genius).
