Dear School Families,

Each day during Lent we began our journey with prayer and reflection. Through prayer and reflection, we learned about Lent’s purpose – leading us all to the . That purpose became more focused this past weekend as we celebrated Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion and entered into Holy Week. Lent ends with the of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday evening. That’s when the Triduum begins. The Triduum is considered the three holiest days of the year. The Triduum consists of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. As Disciples of Christ, let us all take advantage of the last days of Lent to bring us even closer to . It's hard to believe that we have completed our 3rd week of Distance Learning. Thank you for your support during this process. We are grateful for your continued partnership, especially during these difficult times. I can truly say that being a part of St. Anne and working with you and your children is the light for us during these seemingly dark days. The positive comments on Facebook, through emails, in Google Classrooms and virtual parent meetings and through phone calls are truly sustaining. Today we had a wonderful surprise parade of families and students driving through the parking lot. The students displayed messages of encouragement and support. This really brightened our day and we are so appreciative. Keeping informed throughout our school closure is important. Twice weekly I participate in principal meetings hosted by the Superintendent. We have a team leader meeting once a week and an all staff meeting once a week. Next week, I will be hosting parent meetings to answer questions that you may have. In order to prepare, you are asked to complete a brief Google Survey. I look forward to seeing everyone virtually next week. Please keep Father Tommy in your prayers, his birthday is on Good Friday. Be sure to continue to check the school’s website for updates and resources. Next week we will have a Virtual Spirit Week, information is in the Newsflash. Be sure to post pictures of your students on social media and tag our school. Please continue to join us in prayer for all affected by the pandemic. May your Easter season be blessed and filled with the renewed faith in the resurrection and the risen life we receive in Baptism.
