In 1961, Mary Hemingway, the writer’s widow, got permission to travel to Cuba and remove manuscripts and other important papers that make up the bulk of the Ernest Hemingway Collection. Yet due to time and space constraints, she also had to leave many materials behind. Susan Wrynn, Hemingway Curator, is currently processing these new scans so that they can be made available to researchers and the general public.
