Pool Information: The Pikes Peak Athletics Training Center is an indoor facility. It is located at 602 Elkton Drive, Colorado Springs, 80907. There are several viewing areas for spectators. There is a loft viewing area as well as deckside seating/bleachers. Please do not view from the staging or coach areas.

Team Tent Areas: Please keep all lawn chairs either outside the building or inside, upstairs in the gym area. There will be no lawn chairs allowed poolside or upstairs in the loft viewing area. All team tents need to be positioned in the parking lot to the west of the pool. Please do NOT use the grass areas as these belong to other businesses.

Parking There is no street parking available during the meet. Please park in a designated parking lot. On Friday, due to the pool being located in a business area, parking may be limited. If possible, please try to carpool on Friday.

Schedule of Events: Friday Night: • No formal events are planned for this evening. Please feel free to enjoy Colorado Springs! Here is a list of things for you to do. o Garden of the Gods Park – This is just a quick and easy drive from the state meet. Leave early for the BBQ on Saturday evening and spend some time driving through the park before the picnic. o Cheyenne Mountain Zoo – This is one of the highest zoos in the world! And it voted 6th in the Nation. Don’t miss the grizzly bear exhibit and the new baby giraffes. o Manitou Arcade in Manitou Springs – The Manitou Arcade is one of the oldest around. It’s a fun night out for the family and don’t forget to play Donkey Derby. Who is the horse racing winner in your family? o National Museum of World War II Aviation – Are you a lover of old planes? This is a wonderful museum that will delight the history buffs. This is also perfect for kids to see a large part of US history from the planes to displays. o Old Colorado City – Need to add some shopping in along with good food and a fun atmosphere? Old Colorado City is filled with boutique style shops that will entice all shoppers. The food is delicious! Try Jorge’s for authentic Mexican food, Mother Muffs, Pizza Rustica, or Jake and Telley’s Greek food. o The Summit Interquest – Want to get out of the heat? Visit this fun building that houses a bowling alley, arcade and laser tag. You can also catch a movie right next door. o Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site – Good news! This is on your way to the Saturday night BBQ as well. This cute little old fashion ranch is nestled at the bottom of the entrance to the Garden of the Gods. Take the kiddos in to see the old barns and all the animals. o Other places to visit – § Colorado Mining Museum § Air Force Academy

Saturday Night: • Join us at Valley Swim Club from 6 – 9 pm for dinner, swimming, and music! Information about this event will come in a separate document by July 1. • Valley Swim Club is located at 1111 N 31st Street, Colorado Springs, 80904.

Concessions: • Food and drinks will be available for purchase during all sessions for purchase.

State T-shirt/Clothing Sales: Get ready to "Dive into Music" with awesome apparel from our seasonal state online store. There is something for everyone. Great Colorado inspired design by a local artist. Order by July 22nd and pick up your items on Friday 8/3 at the meet. Commemorate your swimmers season with official seasonal state apparel!
