COUNTDOWN By: Katie Gilson Class Goes on Field Trip to Dayton By: Jared Bare

Last Friday, March 8th, one of Mr. Miller’s classes took a field trip to the National Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio. The class is called American  2 Days– Saint Patrick’s Day Conflicts and it teaches the students about all of the wars the United States 5 Days– First Day of Spring  has fought in. The material started with the very early wars and just recently  13 Days– Spring Break finished up the Vietnam section. The museum features planes from several  17 Days– April Fool’s Day wars; it’s earliest gallery being the “Early Years” gallery. Mr. Miller thought  51 Days– Prom the museum would be a great chance to show his students some of the planes used in the wars he taught them about.  Long Time– Last Day of School Personally, I thought the highlight of the museum was the B2 Stealth

Bomber. It is a very large plane and it is worth a couple billion dollars. It is the top shelf of today’s stealth operations, and is used to drop bombs on se- cret missions without being detected by the enemy. The students had a very fun time and learned a lot, although the two and a half hour bus ride was not the most delightful. Mr. Miller is not sure if he will continue the trip next year or not, but after the success it had, he most likely will. If you are going to be a junior or senior next year, keep your ears open for an announcement about this trip, and you could have the same experience! Page 2 Tiger Tales

David Benson and Lottie Taylor By: Zach Bare The next lucky couple to be featured in my article is Lottie Taylor and David Benson. This cou- ple met at cross country practice their freshman year. They have been dating for a year and nine months. Their first date was a trip to the movies to see Transformers in 3D. David’s favorite thing about Lottie is her laugh. Lottie’s favorite thing about Da- vid is that she can trust him. Their favorite thing to do together is to watch funny movies. This senior couple has been together for longer than most high school relationships last, so that should mean they will be together for years to come.

Singles Corner

Adam Spieth By:Kam Pohlman This issue’s lucky single is none other than Adam Spieth. This sophomore is a standout football and basketball player for Liberty Center, playing varsity for both teams this year. Adam is a little bit of a country boy, but still loves to have a good time. He enjoys hanging out with friends, go- ing hunting, and selling tomatoes at his own busi- ness stand by his house. His perfect date would in- clude going to a rodeo, grilling some hamburgers for dinner, and finishing by star gazing in the back of his truck while listening to country love songs. If this sounds like a fit for you, don’t be shy, just say hi! Page 7
