As from 1.9.12 anyone who keeps horses in NSW is required to obtain a PIC for the land on which the horses are kept. If you agist it is the property owner’s responsibility to obtain a PIC. Even if you only have 1 horse, you will still need a PIC. To register for a PIC go to www.lhpa.org,au – cost is $66.00 for 3 years. If you pay your land rates to LHPA then you will already have a PIC. MEMBERS & NON-MEMBERS—PLEASE READ REGULATION 4 re PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE. Rules Regulations applying to this Show 1. Entry is voluntary - all Exhibitors & Competitors agree to be bound by the SHC of A. Inc. Competition Rules and the Rules & Regulations set out herein. 2. The Association will not be responsible for any accident or damage caused by or to any exhibitor. All competitors compete voluntarily. 3. Any Competitor not suitably attired may be precluded from competition. All riders must wear approved safety hat and boots at all times. 4. MEMBERS must produce their current receipt or current SHC Membership Card for 2018- 2019 Membership . NON-MEMBERS are advised that you do not have any Public Liability and should you cause an accident where injury/property damage occurs you are not covered unless you pay the COMPULSORY $10.00 day membership. Cover commences once it has been paid to a representative of the organising Committee. 5. The T.S.H. & P.A. Inc. Show Committee reserves the right to interpret all questions or incidents regarding or arising from this Show without recourse. Their decision will be final. 6. The Association reserves the right to refuse any entry, without assigning any reasons. No claim shall be made against the Association should entry be refused. 7. Horses registered in the National Saddle Horse Register of the Show Horse Council of Australasia Inc . must hold a current Measuring Certificate and be shown as per height on that Measuring Certificate. Any horse not holding a certificate may be required to be measured. 8. Protests are to be accompanied by a $50 bond, lodged within 15 minutes of the event. Protest Committee consists of the three Executives of T. S. H & P.A. Inc. Money will be refunded if protest is upheld. 9. Breed Classes – horses must be registered with the relevant Breed Society and owner must be financial. Documentation MUST be produced on the day if requested by Show Official. DEFINITIONS: Newcomer - not to have competed in any discipline in any State UNDER SADDLE , excluding racing, prior to 1st January 2018. To compete in SNAFFLE bridle, nosebands are permitted. Novice - is one not placed 1st in any individual open horse/rider class at any Official Show (eg Agricultural Shows, Hack Association Shows, Breed Shows, Royal Shows) Intermediate - Not been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any individual ridden Hack or Show Hunter classes at any Royal Show including RNA, Royal Bathurst Show, Royal Geelong Show & Toowoomba Royal Show. A horse will carry its performance for Life regardless of whether it changes its height division. (This applies to Novice and Intermediate classes at this Show and means that a Pony that has previously won a Novice Pony class and then grows to Galloway does NOT revert to being a Novice Galloway. The same applies to Galloways and Hacks.) Horses can only compete in the Open classes OR the Show Hunter classes – they cannot compete in both sections. Rings will not be held under any circumstances. As from 1.1.12, if your horse is registered with the National Saddle Horse Registry and you compete as a Show Hunter at a SHC affiliated show, the horse must be shown as a Show Hunter at other SHC shows for the rest of the year.     Chinchilla Show Program 2021 Section 1 - Horse Schedule Chief Steward - Phone: Email: HORSE REGULATIONS- STABLES must be pre-booked prior to commencement of show via email to [email protected]. au Bookings will not be kept without payment of $10 per stall per night or $20/ stable for the duration of the Show. Powered camping sites are available for $10/site/night or $20/site for the duration of the Show. Vehicle registration numbers must be given when paying and checks will be made each night. By entering the Show Grounds, all competitors and connections of competitors agree to abide by the following regulations also the QCAS general regulations found on the QCAS web site. 1. DRESS – IMPORTANT - Full Riding attire must be worn in all Ridden Classes. Neat, appropriate attire may be worn in Led Classes. Riding Boots are to be worn in ALL ridden Classes. Approved Standard Safety Helmets MUST be worn by all competitors riding a horse/pony on the show grounds [whether In the ring or outside the ring] Approved helmets are AS/NZS 3838 [Current Australian Standard] or EN 1384 [Current European Standard] or ASTN F1163 [Current US Standard]. Failure to wear an approved helmet will result in disqualification. Junior [17years and under] riders must wear short jodphur boots [top boots are not allowed] in Junior Rider Classes. Helmets ARE required for ALL ridden classes, including Stock Horse classes, or other classes where a hat might normally be acceptable. Handlers in led classes must wear appropriate safe foot wear. Any competitor not suitably attired, shall be excluded from competing in the event.
