Where the parts ordered by CAT are not received within two working days of the agreed upon time/date and a bus procured under this contract is out of servce due to the lack of said ordered parts, then New Flyer shall provide CAT, within eight (8) hours of CAT's verbal of written request, the original supplier's/manufacturer's parts number and all contact information for all of the specific parts not received by CAT. Where New Flyer fails to honor this part guaranty or parts ordered by CAT are not received within thrity (3) days of the agreed upon delivery date, the New Flyer shall provide to CAT, within seven (7) days of CAT's verbal or written request, the design and manufacturing documentation for those parts manufacturerd by New Flyer and the original suppliers'/manufacturer's parts number and all contact information for all of the specific parts not received by CAT. These will be supplied with the first bus delivery. Approved New Flyer Published Bus Parts Manual will be kept available and maintained with updates for a period of 12 years. All other New Flyer Bus Manuals will be maintained for 6 years. OEM component supplier manuals are current when purchased and supplied. it is the III. 27.0 43-44 responsibility of each OEM component supplier to make their manuals and any updates available to the end user. Approved Body/structural drawings are considered as proprietary information and not supplied. If a major accident occurs, New Flyer Technical III. 27.0 43-44 Services team will assist the customer with information to properly repair the bus. Approved New Flyer can supply a listing of parts as they appear in the Bus Parts Manual. New Flyer will supply documentation to the customer for retrofits performed as well as updates affecting Bus manuals. The manual updates will be sent depending on urgency of issue and number of changes rather than a III. 27.0 43-44 calendar based service. Approved New Flyer will supply Bus and OEM Manuals with First Bus delivery only. Updates will be supplied for New Flyer Bus Manuals only (12 y III. 27.0 43-44 ears Parts Manuals - 6 years for all other NF Bus manuals). Approved A separate electrical troubleshooting guide publication is not supplied by New Flyer. Troubleshooting the bus is performed by using the III. 27.0 43-44 PLC logix program and laptop. Additional troubleshooting info is available within the Engie and Transmission manuals. Approved As this is an IFB for 2 buses (with the option to increase the order by an additional 2 buses within 60 days of Notice to Proceed), please confirm that a test of the Air Conditioning system on the first production bus is not required.
