New Road Update There has been a judicial review High Court hearing. The judge dismissed the points raised by Grainger, so the appeal verdict stands. Work is being done with regards to the fence at the site. We will keep you apprised as to the progress on this.

Neighbourhood Plan Progress Following the decision in September to move forward with the review of land within the Parish for possible allocation, the Steering Group invited 12-15 residents drawn from all parts of the village to form a Community Group to assist the Steering Group. This wider group met on the 6th, 16th and 30th November and has made good progress with a pre-assessment process covering all the land in the Parish, agreeing the criteria for the more detailed assessment and in producing a long list of sites which will be fully evaluated in the period running up to Christmas. Progress can be followed on the web site at www.easthagbourneplan.net. Major Planning Applications A planning application has been submitted for 84 houses behind St Hugh's Rise in Millbrook (see below). Comments can be sent to SODC via their web site. Orchestra Land intend to apply for 74 houses behind Blewbury Road and Taylor Wimpey are proposing a major develoment of up to 1000 houses south of , 300 of which would be in . We are working with West Hagbourne PC on a response. Parish Councillor Vacancies There are two vacancies for a Parish Councillor. If you are interested in learning more about the role, please contact the clerk.
