Selections will be sung a cappella, Scobee said, and will include Andre’ Thomas’ “Keep Your Lamps (trimmed and burn- ing)” and “Rockin’ Jerusa- lem,” Antonio Lotti’s “Vere Languores Nostros,” the choral classic “Set Me as a Seal” by Rene Clausen and several more. The chamber choir at Crestwood High School is an elite ensemble compris- ing advanced chorus stu- dents selected through au- ditions. While the choir members are mostly upperclassmen, there are a few freshmen. Many of the vocalists have made the South Carolina All-State Chorus, and for many years the chamber choir has been scoring su- perior ratings at the South Carolina Choral Festival. The current choir travels throughout the country to sing and to compete on the national level. In June 2016, the choir sang the Faure’ Requiem on stage at Carnegie Hall under the direction of Sonja Sepulveda. The choir also performed at St. James Cathedral in New York City.
