Project Description Date: March 2014 Location: Moore Park, Sydney, New South Wales The Sydney Cricket Ground, originally built in 1882, is one of the most iconic sporting stadiums in Australia and home to a number of sporting teams including the Sydney Sixers cricket team and the Sydney Swans. With a capacity of 48,000, the stadium is an important part in Australia’s sporting culture with the ground hosting over 100 cricket test matches, includ- ing the most recent Ashes series.
Given the arena supports many teams and hosts events all year round, millions of spectators pass through its gates every year. This results in a need for constant maintenance of the stadium, including its numerous high-traffic flooring areas.
