The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is one of Australia’s premier sporting and entertainment venues. The SCG is located at Moore Park, 4km from Sydney’s central business district and adjacent to the popular bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops of the Entertainment Quarter. The historic Sydney Cricket Ground boasts an impressive list of credentials, encompassing cricket, Australian Rules Football, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer, Baseball, Cycling and major concerts by the Rolling Stones, Elton John, Michael Jackson, and Madonna to name a few. The primary tenants at the SCG are the Sydney Swans (AFL) and Cricket (Internationals, NSW Blues & Sydney Sixers). The SCG opened in 1886 and has been developed over time to become the great stadium it is today holding just over 47,000. The ground has recently been redeveloped to include the new Noble & Bradman Stand and the Messenger Stand which now includes one of the largest video screens in Australia.
