The Chaser’s War on Everything – Series 2 Thursdays at 8.30pm – PART OF MEGA THURSDAYS CONTINUING SUBSCRIPTION TV PREMIERE EPISODES As hilarious as it is controversial, and a runaway Australian TV success story, THE CHASER’S WAR ON EVERYTHING is little short of a phenomenon. The Chaser was founded in 1999 as a fortnightly satirical newspaper produced out of a spare bedroom by initial editors Charles Firth, Craig Reucassel, Julian Morrow, Dominic Knight, who were later joined by the far more talented Andrew Hansen, Chas Licciardello and Chris Taylor. Since those humble beginnings, the Chaser team has lost its humility and has produced Classic comedy in all media, including print, online, radio & television. Filmed in front of a studio audience, the Logie Award-winning team of both CNNNN and The Chaser Decides, do what they do best - confront and lampoon key players from the world of politics, business, religion, media and culture. These signature Chaser ambushes form the core of this "satirical anti-variety show’ - alongside news-of-the-week analysis, comedy sketches, their uniquely irreverent field experiments and often controversial stunts for which the team is well known. In 2007, the team infiltrated the APEC conference in Sydney, which made headlines around the world. George W. Bush 2 waged a war on terror, but only The Chaser has had the vision and courage to wage a WAR ON EVERYTHING! In Series 2 The Chaser team continue their war by going all the way testing out beds in a shopping centre and uncovering the secrets of The Secret. Mr 10 Questions disturbs Sophia Loren, the Citizens’ Infringement Officer issues tickets for bad haircuts, the guys find out exactly where you can take a tank, and the Surprise Spruiker turns up at Channel Nine for an Eddie McGuire clearance.
