La musique est en effet un moyen privilégié pour construire et comprendre la ville.. Le projet Moov’Europ (2015-2016) a été mis en place autour de plusieurs thèmes pour que les élèves puissent acquérir et développer les connaissances fondamentales de l’histoire de l’art et de la musique en Europe (ex : hymne européen, hymnes nationaux,musique classique, pop-rock, nouvelle scène....) mais aussi avoir une culture générale élargie à la découverte de nouvelles expressions et expérimentations urbaines en lien avec le programme d’aide et les projets musicaux financés par la Commission européenne (projet Diversitad, fêtes de la musique.....).

    BIOGRAPHIE Originaire des Comores, Ikbal a passé son enfance au village de M’beni, avec une grand-mère chanteuse qui lui a fait découvrir la musique. Il débarque en France à l’âge de 8 ans en 1989, en plein dans les années pop, quand Michael Jackson est au sommet de sa gloire, et tombe amoureux des mélodies qu’il découvre à la radio : Bob Marley, Aznavour, Earth Wind & Fire et Michel Berger, entre autres. C’est son grand frère Housni, alias Rohff, qui l’initie au rap. « Il me poussait à regarder Rapline et Yo ! MTV Rap, et il ramenait les cassettes à la maison ». Fan de hip-hop américain, Ikbal écoute NWA, EPMD, le Wu-Tang, Nas, Notorious Big, 2Pac et Mobb Deep, mais aussi les classiques français d’IAM, NTM et Idéal J. Puis il se lance dans l’arène. « Le rap, c’est un peu le générique de ma vie, donc j’ai vite été tenté », explique-t-il. Concerts dans les MJCs, premières compiles… Le parcours classique d’un débutant déterminé à percer. Mais Ikbal reste tourmenté par les démons de la rue. Entre l’illicite et le micro, il fait le bon choix. En 2003, il élabore un concept original, Talents Fâchés : des grands noms du rap mettant en lumière des MCs débutants. « Je voulais l’appeler Talents Cachés, et puis je me suis dit qu’on avait envie de se manifester musicalement. Par rapport à ce qu’on vit, à ce dont on a envie, pourquoi pas Talents Fâchés, TLF ». C’est donc en tant que rappeur, producteur et dénicheur de talents qu’Ikbal débarque dans la musique.
