1. "Symphony for the Divine Comedy of Dante," fragment, holograph, signed, 1 p., 1855-1856.

2. "Weinachstlied; nach einer alten wiese fur Tenor (solo), Sopran und Alt mit Orgel oder Harmonium," fragment, holograph, signed, 8 p. on 3 leaves; after 1876, ca. 1882. [Note: score in the hand of a copyist; the last five bars and instructions to the publisher are in FL's hand; piece is signed by him both to the right and left sides of the title. He has added phrasing, the names of the voices, and in addition to the five added bars on the last page, has altered two bars on page 4. The score has been worked over extensively by the publisher and others. The pencilled English translation is by Mrs. J.P. Morgan. The song is an arrangement of"O Heilige Nacht," the second piece in "Weinachtsbaum. Arbre de Noel," a group of 12 piano pieces composed by FL between 1874 and 1876.]

1. Sacred choral work for tenor and bass with organ accompaniment, containing arrangement of "Veni Creator Spiritus," 2 1/2 p. on folded leaf, nos. 3-5; holograph; almost all crossed out in red-orange crayon; some blue crayon markings as well. [Note: this is probably the original version of "Firmung," no. 2 of "Septem Sacramenta" [Searle no. 52]. The authentication appears in the top right hand comer on p. 3, "correcturexemplar von Liszts Hand aus den Sacramenten," this signed by Karl Gille. The MS might have been detached from a MS held at the Goethe und Schiller Archiv, Weimar, which is lacking this number; the title "Firmung" is given on p. 3, dating ca. 1867; MS at variance with the final version.]
