Read All Over Publishing serves as a pragmatic professor that supplies milk for the seeker and meat for the believer, so they see Jesus Christ as he really is and be satisfied to be as he is in this world. There are countless biographies you can read about someone else's life, but all of Read All Over Publishing's divinely inspired creations help you to write your own story using heaven's perspective. Read All Over Publishing, Cleveland, Ohio Page 4 Album Dedication I dedicated Life in the Blood, my first CD album to my mom, Mary Foster. She is the one whose voice I admired to the point I wanted to mimic it. Having her voice so close to me helped to give me the power to outlast the pain of what was termed to be high, squeaky voice, which was most likely irritating as well. Well, hopefully you won’t hear anything that causes you to tune me out, but I am for certain that satan shakes, rattles and rolls at the sounds of the blood because it constantly reminds him that he is forever defeated because Jesus Christ destroyed him who had the power of death, that is, the devil and then delivered us who had the fear of death subject to bondage. Life in the Blood ebook, Kathryn Joy Foster Page 5 Album Concept If you are really going to experience real life in this life, your abundant life connection must be in the blood of Jesus. I believe I downloaded the concept for Life in the Blood from the prompting of Holy Spirit. Divinely inspired, I have written nine songs that have the word “blood” in the lyrics, i.e., referring to Jesus Christ offering and sacrifice over the last four decades. Most of the songs have background vocals that helped to embellish the songs. But for Life in the Blood, I removed all the props to center on the lyrics of each song that will greatly impact your revelation and manifestation. As you meditate on the song’s interpretation, please know you will develop a deeper intimacy with the Holy Spirit and those lyrics will drop down deep into your heart to reproduce the promise desired in every arena of life. For the Word of God is both spirit and life, and is the incorruptible seed that lives and abides forever. While the album is a solo performance, really I am not alone; Holy Spirit accompanied me with his anointing to reproduce the healing, deliverance, and/or salvation you need at any time. I believe you will discover a heavenly endorsement that can, will, is able and ready to transform your life totally. Read All Over Publishing, Cleveland, Ohio Page 6 Songwriting Journey Each song has its own unique beginning, but your testimony will be evidence of how well it finishes. While one was birthed out of pleasure, another out of pain. While one was birthed just because I asked, another was given without a request. While one was birthed almost overnight, another one took years to complete. While one was birthed by verbatim according to Scriptures, another one was penned with an artist’s brush, one stroke at a time. In the end, each song brings a unique presentation to crossing genres over four decades so you can experience Jesus Christ as he really is. Expect the anointing to remove your burdens and destroys your yokes. Expect to receive a freedom that surpasses any power that bondage thinks it has to hold you down. Life in the Blood ebook, Kathryn Joy Foster Page 7 Every day is Perfect to Honor Jesus’ Blood All songs salute the Blood of Jesus. They are not intended for special occasions alone, like Resurrection Day, i.e., “Easter”, but to empower the resurrection power of Christ in you right now. Listen to Life in the Blood until it becomes the song of your heart. I believe it will prompt you to recognize the resurrection power of Christ each day. Now you won’t have to wait for the power to come around once a year. John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. 9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a Read All Over Publishing, Cleveland, Ohio Page 8 trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Revelation 1:4-18 Recognized by the Blood, No Longer Disfigured When you apply the blood of Jesus over each area of your life, you are recognizing what was realized from the foundation of the world. You activate that you were justified to the point that Jesus is not ashamed to call you his brother or his sister. So say the blood of Jesus. Speak the blood of Jesus. Sing the blood of Jesus. Use it Life in the Blood ebook, Kathryn Joy Foster Page 9 in worship. Use it in warfare. Use it in prayer. Use it in petitions. Use it in praise. Use it in church. Use it in the community. Make every necessary adjustment to adopt the blood of Jesus daily. It is already proven. No one else can do what Jesus has done for you, so don’t let anyone or anything discount his sacrifice for you and his offering to God for you. Although Jesus’ birth is miraculous, he had to discover himself in the Word. Just like our new birth is miraculous; we too must discover ourselves in the Word. Jesus saw his image as God saw him. We too must see our image as God sees us. Just like Jesus saw his value, we too can see our value through the blood of Jesus. Know this: Jesus never has to return to die again to add anything that was not covered or forgotten: whether seen or unseen, known or unknown. Being beaten unrecognizable, the shed blood of Jesus redeemed us to be accepted and recognized as not only his creation, but sons and daughters of God, therefore, heirs, and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ.

  • God Has Gifted the Church with the Powerful Medium of Music. Col 3:16
God has gifted the Church with the powerful medium of music. Col 3:16-17 tells us: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Paul speaks of “psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.” Most people, when they arrive at these passages get caught up in trying to discern the difference between these three categories. “What is the difference between a psalm and a hymn?” they ask. “And can modern praise choruses be considered spiritual songs?” Incidentally, from there the inquiry degrades even further with people debating the differences between hymns and praise choruses. Of course, some may have heard the story of the old farmer who went to the city one weekend and attended one of the larger churches. Upon his arrival home, his wife asked him how the church service went. “Well,” said the farmer, “It was good, but they did something different. They sang praise choruses instead of hymns.” “Praise choruses,” said his wife, “What are those?” “Oh, they’re okay,” responded the farmer. “They’re sort of like hymns, only different.” “Well, what’s the difference?” asked his wife. The farmer said, “It’s like this: If I said to you, “Myrtle, my beloved. Hast thou seen the cows in the ripened and bounteous corn?” that would be a hymn.

  • 2019 Theme Resources
2019 THEME RESOURCES Holy Today! I am ready to be approached by those who do not study me, ready to be found by those who do not seek me. I say, “I am here, I am here” to people who do not even invoke my names. Isaiah 65.1 I am here! I am here! If you have ever had a beach holiday it is surprising just how loud the sound of the waves crashing on the shore can be. By day, the sound of the waves can almost be missed amidst the other sounds, dazzling colours and energetic movement of beachgoers, bright flags, ball games, cawing seagulls or the glare of the dancing sun. Yet sitting on the sand at that magical time of twilight, the sound of the crashing waves begins to catch greater attention. As the fine mist of night begins to descend the volume seems to amplify. By nightfall, the sound can be heard with such intensity as to even keep a light sleeper awake. However, there is no volume control on the sound of the waves. It seems that we are simply more attuned or aware of its sound at some particular moments than at other times. We know the same can be true in our experience of God. Like the waves, there is no volume control that we can, or need to, turn up to hear or ‘experience the presence of God’. Like the sound of the crashing waves that are always there, so too God is always present to us - it’s just that sometimes we are more attuned or aware.

So it’s our commitment to walk you through each component of the worship service so no one feels like an outsider. There Giving as part of p. 12 will be no obscure, tribal language. No ‘in-house’ moments. our worship Our worship is structured, with liturgy and rich music that connects us to the church of old and those who’ve gone before us––we are deeply rooted in something much larger than ourselves or our own cultural moment. But worship should be accessible and enjoyable if it’s to be meaningful. You should always feel the freedom to participate actively in worship or to just listen and observe at your discretion.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION/GRADUATION SUNDAY MUSIC & WORSHIP RESOURCES Sunday, May 20, 2012 Michelle Riley Jones, Lectionary Team Liturgist Worship Planning Notes The aim of a Christian and even secular education is to create citizens who are well-rounded and serve the world in positive ways. Christian education undergirds all other ministries of a church and requires a lifelong commitment to study. Psalm 1, though it references the Law as that which leads to moral and lifelong stability and prosperity, extends to the entire Bible, and emphasizes that Christians should delight in lifelong study of the Bible. “Blessed is the one . whose delight is in the law of the LORD and who meditates on his law day and night” (Psalm 1:1-2). This service celebrates all those who have pursued various types of education, i.e., Bible classes, high school, college, graduate school, small group study, etc., and all those involved in teaching. Suggestions for worship (a) For a truly out-of-the-box approach, hire mime artists to pose as living statues in your service. If you can hire several, a goal could be to show learning from youth through adulthood. You can utilize them during the portion of service where you recognize your graduates and educators, or have them posed during the entire service (there are natural breaks in the service where the artists can rest and/or switch 1 out). You could also have them posted in your foyer as your congregation and guests arrive (they should be relieved once the service begins). Some suggested poses are: Mother reading Bible to child sitting at her knee Teacher with pupil Person reading science, history, math, etc., book Graduate (with cap, gown, and honors tassels) Small study group or two people studying together (as they would in Sunday School, Sabbath School, or Bible Study).
