We invite you to relax, unwind and explore the Boulder Junction area and the beautiful 225,000-acre Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest with 194 pristine area lakes, winding rivers and miles and miles of multi-use trails that surround Boulder Junction, “The Musky Capital of the World®” Boulder Junction is an area rich with history and tradition and we are “Bringing Classic Back” this year along with Camp Manito-wish YMCA who is celebrating their 100th Anniversary. Since 1919, Camp Manito-wish has been dedicated to building character and cultivating leadership skills, utilizing this spectacular Northwoods setting, a truly exceptional staff and three major program areas — Summer Camp, Outpost and Leadership — to challenge and inspire. Through this Manito-wish experience, participants discover new skills and talents, build character and a sense of community, and see the world — and themselves — in a positive new way. Congratulations to Camp Manito-wish YMCA for building lasting memories and traditions in the Boulder Junction area for the past 100 years and for many more to come.
