Despite the increased number of people who travel with access requirements, the sector still lacks an understanding of the expectations and experiences of access tourists. Accessible tourism covers an array of impairments from people who are immobile, visually impaired, an invisible impairment, parents with pushchairs, and seniors. The purpose of this study was to understand the expectations and experiences of the access consumer to suggest improvements for accessibility for the New Zealand tourism sector. The social model of disability was adopted to examine the sector and framed the semi-structured interviews with access consumers. Key results identified from the data were the need to achieve dignity in service offerings to gain experiences that facilitate independence and equity of access, access to information before the travel that is clear and accurate to aid planning, and accessible transport and education. In conclusion, the paper calls for the New Zealand tourism industry to align with the Disability Strategy sustainability goals to achieve equity and inclusion and create enjoyable accessible experiences in their tourist offerings.

Para ello, partimos del análisis de ese espacio y tratamos de correlacionar sus resultados con la información proporcionada por las fuen- tes escritas y las arqueológicas. Finalmente, ofrecemos algunas reflexiones a modo de hipótesis acerca de la posible localización del asenta- miento denominado Morogi del que Plinio el Viejo hace mención en su Historia Natural. Considerado ya en vida de su autor como himno nacional vasco, no es, en cambio, un himno nacionalista. Es un canto a la soli- daridad de Álava, Guipúzcoa, Navarra y Vizcaya, pero sin cuestionar la unidad de España. Ha contado con una difusión extraordinaria también en las provin- cias vasco-francesas de Baja Navarra, Labort y Sola, así como en las colectivi- dades vascas del exterior. Por razones opuestas, ha sido rechazado por sectores del navarrismo y del nacionalismo vasco. El universalismo y el pacifismo que rezuma el Gernikako Arbola lo diferencian de otros himnos patrióticos. Palabras clave: José María Iparraguirre (1820-1881). Gernika. Fuerismo. Nacionalismo vasco. Navarrismo. Abstract: The first documented performance of Gernikako Arbola took place in Madrid in 1853. Considered in the lifetime of its author a national an- them, it is not, however, a nationalist anthem. It is a hymn to the solidarity of Alava, Biscay, Guipuzcoa and Upper Navarre, but without questioning the unity of Spain. It has also been extraordinarily popular in the French Basque prov- inces of Labourd, Lower Navarre and Soule, as well as in the Basque communi- ties abroad. For opposite reasons, it has been rejected by sectors of Navarresism and Basque nationalism.

    EUSKAL ESTATISTIKA ERAKUNDEA INSTITUTO VASCO DE ESTADÍSTICA Nota de prensa de 18/12/2008 CUENTAS ECONÓMICAS - PIB MUNICIPAL Olaberria, Zamudio y Zierbena son los municipios con mayor PIB per capita de la C.A. de Euskadi En cambio, tres comarcas alavesas- Rioja Alavesa, Estribaciones del Gorbea y Valles Alaveses- son las que muestran los mayores valores de PIB por habitante Olaberria, en el territorio histórico de Gipuzkoa, es el municipio con el Producto Interior Bruto (PIB) per capita más elevado de la C.A. de Euskadi, según datos publicados por EUSTAT. En segundo y tercer lugar se sitúan respectivamente los municipios de Zamudio y Zierbena, ambos en el territorio histórico de Bizkaia. En Álava es Legutiano el municipio que presenta un mayor PIB per capita, situándose en cuarto lugar en el global de la Comunidad Autónoma. El indicador PIB per capita municipal mide la riqueza generada en un municipio por los factores productivos (fábricas, comercios, empresas de servicios, ..) instalados en su ámbito territorial por habitante residente. Observando la distribución sectorial del PIB de estos cuatro municipios, es coincidente el notable peso de las ramas industriales de alto valor añadido, sumándose asimismo, en el caso de Zamudio, la fortaleza del sector servicios asociado al Parque Tecnológico.
