Mercy on Campus is the area’s first community college health clinic and fits with Jefferson College’s emphasis on health occupations training programs and wellness. The clinic is open to community members, students, and college employees/ dependents for sick visits, personal wellness, chronic disease management, vaccinations, stress management, and other health programs. Regular copay amounts are applicable. “As an institution of higher learning, we have an obligation to promote a culture of wellness on campus and in our community,” said College President Dr. Raymond Cummiskey. “Patients can have the peace of mind knowing that high-quality care is readily available for managing a chronic condition as well as addressing sudden illnesses or perhaps unexpected injuries.
