Jon's Mini-Codiums and More List, 2015 Jon's Mini-codiums and More Taffeta I'm happy to be given the opportunity to offer miniature and dwarf daffodils to interested people. This is my first sales list I joined the American Daffodil Society in 2003 and my main interest are miniatures, species, tazettas, and fall flowering daffodils. Many of the miniatures and dwarf daffodils are illustrated in this listing, the cultivars without photographs, please refer to the American Daffodil Society's Daffseek at http://daffseek.org to view photographs and additional information. In the fall of 2014, Nancy Wilson asked me if I was interested in taking over the sale of Walter Blom's Miniatures and Dwarf Daffodils as she had wanted to retire. I accepted. Since this venture has happened so quickly, I will only be offering Division 10 cultivars that I have in my collection. Some of the Division 10 cultivars, I believe, have not been offered or not been offered in many years. In the future, I hope to offer more miniatures. I visited Nancy Wilson on Sunday, March 29 during the weekend of the 2015 Fortuna Show. We talked about daffodils and she gave me advice on what to expect on this new venture. The cup is greenish-white, ribbed with the mouth slightly flared and frilled. Flower stems are 10 cm (4 inches). [Seedling No. Blom 661-9] White Heaven 10 W-W Early to Mid-season $15.00 A white selection of Julia Jane, very floriferous. White narrow perianth segments, disc-shaped cup lightly ribbed and the mouth slightly wavy. Resembles N. cantrabricus ssp. cantrabricus var. petunioides. Muslin 10 W-W Early $8.00 ADS Approved Miniature. A small flower opening a pale yellow and matures to a bright white with a green eye. The funnel-shaped cup is smooth with mouth is wavy. One of the Douglas Blanchard's "Fabric Group." Blooms in December to January 2 Jon's Mini-codiums and More introductions for 2015 Photo taken by Kirby Fong Ben'Bler 10 Y-Y Early $25.00 A beautiful cultivar with large bright yellow blooms with an widely expanded slightly ribbed disc-shaped cup on 15 cm stems. Part of the Rod Barwick's "Little Detective Series" A Glenbrook Bulb Farm cultivar. Blooms December to early March. Ben 'Bler was one of the cultivars in the Aqua ribbon winner at the 2011 Livermore Show, California. (Limited Supply) Ianmon 10 W-W Early to Mid-season $15.00 The blooms open a pale greenish-cream maturing to a pale greenish-white with a funnel-shaped cup with bands of green along the outside part of the tube and segments. The flower stems are between 10 to 15 cm stems (4 to 6 inches). Good multiplier. Part of the Rod Barwick's "Little Detective Series," named after the TV Detective Series Monk after Adrian Monk. A Glenbrook Bulb Farm cultivar. (Limited Supply) 3 Jon's Mini-codiums and More introductions for 2015 White Paradise 5 W-W Mid-season $15.00 1 to 2 flowers per stem larger than a miniature at 65 mm wide. The blooms face slightly downward with greenish-white perianth segments that are smooth with heavy substance broadly ovate. The cup-shaped corona is a greenish-white, the mouth slightly expanded and mildly frilled with the rim flanged and notched. La Scala 5 W-Y Mid-season $20.00 A wonderful dwarf plant with 1 to 2 flowers per stem. Larger than a miniature with blooms being 65 mm wide. The perianth segments are greenish-white, oblong, blunt, smooth with heavy substance, overlapping one-third to one half. The corona is bowl-shaped, a bright greenish- yellow, smooth with mouth expanded and wavy, and the rim is flanged and crenate. Gardener's Delight 6 Y-O Mid-season $25.00 A nice dwarf plant with blooms slightly larger than a miniature at 60 mm wide. The bright yellow perianth segments face slightly upward of heavy substance, overlapping one-third to one half. The orange corona is ribbed, cylindrical with the mouth slightly flared and lightly frilled with the rim narrowly flanged and notched. 4 Jon's Mini-codiums and More Division 1 Cultivars Baby Bell 1 Y--Y Early to Mid-season $15.00 Small brilliant yellow flowers (13 mm wide) facing upwards with a cylindrical smooth bright yellow cup, mouth is slightly expanded ribbed and frilled. (Introduced in 2012) Gipsy Queen 1 YYW-WWY Early to Mid-season $3.00, 5 for $14.00 ADS Miniature. A well known miniature used in miniature collection at ADS shows. Flowers are 30 mm wide with the perianth segments a light greenish-yellow and whitish at the base. The cylindrical slightly narrow mouth of the cup opens a light greenish-yellow and matures to a pale white flecked yellow at the base. Little Beauty 1 W-Y Very Early $3.00, 4 for $14.00 ADS Miniature, A well known miniature trumpet with green-white twisted and narrow perianth segments with a cylindrical, smooth, bright yellow cup. Little Liz 1 Y-O Very Early $5.00 This is a cute miniature trumpet with blooms 45 mm wide with yellow perianth segments and the yellowish- orange cylindrical cup bears an uneven serrated mouth. Sugared Fruit 1 W-W Early to Mid-season $15.00 Star -shaped flowers miniature (50 mm wide) with greenish-white perianth segments of heavy substance. The flowers have a long cylindrical ribbed cup opening a pale yellow maturing to a greenish- white with a frilled and expanded mouth. (Introduced in 2013) Snow Carpet 1 W-W Early to Mid-season $20.00 An intermediate trumpet with blooms (60 mm wide) having evenly twisted spreading perianth segments and a white ribbed cup, an expanded and lobed mouth, and the rim is flanged and serrated. (Introduced in 2014) Tuppenny 1 Y-Y Early to Mid-season $20.00 Vivid yellow flower facing upwards with oblong perianth segments and a cylindrical cup and a ribbed and frilled mouth. Flowers are on 10 cm (4 inch) stems. Good multiplier. (Introduced in 2012) 5 Jon's Mini-codiums and More Wee Bee 1 Y-Y Very Early $3.00, 5 for $13.00 ADS Miniature. Yellow perianth segments are inflexed and twisted with a smooth, cylindrical bright yellow cup with a flared and deeply notched mouth. Similar in appearance to miniature cultivars Bagatelle and Little Gem. White-on-White 1 W-W Early to Mid-season $15.00 Flowers are 50 mm wide with greenish-white perianth segments, the cup opens a pale yellow becoming greenish-white as it matures, and the mouth is expanded and frilled. An excellent dwarf and early blooming trumpet. (Introduced in 2013) [Seedling Number Blom 325-6] Gift Basket 1 Y-O Early to Mid-season $15.00 A deep bicolor miniature trumpet with blooms 50 mm wide. The flowers are smooth, excellent substance with bright yellow perianth segments and a ribbed, rounded orange-yellow flared cup and a frilled mouth. (Introduced in 2013) [Seedling Number Blom 230-5] Division 3 miniature Cultivars Segovia 3 W-Y Mid-season $3.00, 5 for $13.00 ADS Miniature. Commonly grown miniature. Flowers are 50 mm wide with white perianth segments with a disc-shaped ribbed greenish-yellow cup having a wavy mouth. Resembles "Xit." Xit 3 W-W Mid-season to Late 4.00, 5 for $17.50 ADS Miniature. Commonly seen in ADS shows especially in the large miniature collections. Consistent bloomer. Blooms are 46 mm wide with pure white board, slightly reflexed perianth segments and a disc-shaped ribbed greenish-white cup. 6 Jon's Mini-codiums and More Division 5 Triandrus Miniature Cultivars Golden Symphony 5 Y-Y Mid-season $20.00 A wonderful triandrus miniature with 2 to 3 flowers per stem with bright greenish-yellow blooms facing downward, with perianth segments reflexed and a cup shaped cup. Flower stems are between 25 to 30 cm (10 to 12 inches). Romantique 5 Y-Y Mid-season $15.00 Walter Blom's favorite miniature triandrus cultivar. 2 to 4 flowers per stem with bright greenish-yellow blooms facing downward with a cup shaped and ribbed corona. An excellent miniature Division 5 used in large Miniature collection at ADS shows. Small Fancy 5 Y-Y Mid-season $25.00 Bright light greenish-yellow blooms with 2 to 5 flowers per stem. Smooth with excellent substance. Flower stems are 25 cm tall. A very pretty miniature triandrus/jonquilla hybrid. Strongly scented. Introduced in 2013. Spring Serenade 5 Y-Y Mid-season $15.00 Light greenish-yellow blooms with 3 to 4 flowers per stem. The blooms have perianth segments that are oblong reflexed with a cylindrical cup and a wavy margin.

    Jon's Mini-codiums and More 2016 I want to thank all of the people that ordered bulbs from me last year. This was my first time getting orders filled and it was a learning experience. After many years of drought conditions in California, it finally rained. Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, we had ample amounts of rain. My daffodils were very happy. My earliest daffodils (fall flowering species such as N. virdiflorus, N. miniatus, and N. serotinus, and fall flowering bulbocodiums bloomed.) started blooming in October 2015. More fall bloomers flowered (fall blooming cultivars, tazettas, bulbocodiums which included N. cantabricus, N. romieuxii, and Division 10 cultivars) in November and December. Many of the late winter / early spring bloomers (particularly the miniatures in Division 1, 2, 6, 9, 10, 11, and 12) grew vigorously and bloomed during the months of January through early March. The season was going to be early again. During the end of February and first week of March, I was in Arizona on vacation (went to baseball spring training), and upon our return home, it stormed and noticed that most of the miniatures that were coming Spring Serenade into bloom were ravaged by the heavy winds, rain, 5 Y-Y and pests. A few days before the Northern California Daffodil Chapter’s Murphys Show (on March 19 and 20), I was able to bring a small number of miniatures to the show. The next week, I was able to bring many of my late flowering miniatures to the Fortuna Show. Nancy and Jerry Wilson attended the show.

Apparently this is the penultimate Mr. Monk book. Goldberg uses Monk's long-suffering assistant, Natalie as the narrator of his books. Unlike most expanded universe tie-in books, he calls back characters and events from previous books and TV episodes, weaves a decent mystery and moves the g I'm a sucker for these books. This is probably the part I most enjoy. The book begins with a fun mystery an excerpt of which was published as a short in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, and shortlisted for an Edgar Award. Things aren't going well. Well, they are, sort of. Apparently hired in part because of a reputation as a competent, but ridiculous cop, the folks who hired him didn't count on how personable, earnest and hard-working Disher is or his uncanny ability to literally stumble into mysteries. Disher found and reported rampant, years-long corruption in the Summit city government. This lead to the resignation of the mayor and most of the town council.

    Psychological Disorders and Treatments Marshall High School Mr. Cline Psychology Unit Five AA * Psychological Disorders • Much of psychology is concerned with studying and understanding the way healthy minds naturally think and behave. • For example, psychologists might look at how you perceive things with your senses and how you learn new information and behaviors. • You can't go a single day without learning (though there are some teachers who might make you feel like you do!) and certainly not without perceiving. • These are normal functions of the brain that allow you to experience and interact with the world around you. • But imagine someone whose perception is out of whack. • Where most of us would hear silence, this person--let's call him Tom--hears a few distinct voices talking amongst themselves. • These voices aren't actually in the real world; they're created in Tom's head, but to Tom they seem just like a conversation you might overhear on a bus or in a restaurant. * Psychological Disorders • He perceives voices that aren't real. • This is called a hallucination, and it's typically a symptom of a disorder called schizophrenia. • Tom's psychological disorder is the result of something going wrong with his brain's normal functioning. • Tom's disorder interferes with his ability to perceive. • Jenny has a different problem. Jenny is deathly afraid of birds.
